I now delight in the fact that I went to the only CofE boys grammer school in Liverpool. Saturday morning would find me playing for the school often against catholic schools - and they could turn into battles! Saturday afternoon would find us all on The Kop singing the same songs and hugging when Liverpool scored. Puts it all into a true focus I think.

At that level tax becomes meaningless. He has no reason to even consider what the net figure is. Bet he has no idea what his NI number is!
 
Incredible. Still, It's great for us. Foreign owners paying foreign players millions, of which almost 50% goes to HMRC to better the country (in theory)

Yeah, you'd think with all the money they get from him they'd stop chasing me for my £1.29 every year.

I know. Or better yet when you chase them for tax back after overpaying and they take months to give it to you. Double standards
