I dont know but someone posted on another forum thats what one of the local papers said.

Hughes has no shame, hes only here for the money. He has to go as theres no way he can continue now. We will see what happens tomorrow at training and see if he turns up or not.

Maybe he has been sacked and they are negotiating a settlement.....the press boys have denied it as they dont want the rumours getting out of hand.

The source seems pretty damn sure he is gone even in the light if Ian Taylors tweet.

Is tony short of money already? Can't believe any other reason for this charade. Any other league, any other country he would be sacked ages ago. Maybe even after that ridicolous swansea match already.

I think the big point from the tweet was that he said he hasnt been sacked *tonight*. Its more than likely it will happen in the next day or 2 once a settlement is reached.

Sorry for the mis-leading OP lads and lasses. I admit I got slightly excited when all the rumours started breaking. I was just about to finish my shift as the news came through and posted in haste. What with Saturdays result and all the previous predictions from Cerny ,Scott Jones, Finney, Whittingham and The Source and a few other rumours going around the pubs from connected people on Saturday night it seemed to culminate in a mass truth from within. To see my twitter feed erupt in an abundance simutaneously on Hughes being outed was too much to ignore. I felt a duty to post.

As the news that Hughes is still the manager is reported across the media, I still think that news of his departing is being delayed to sort out a severance deal.

After today I'm even more confident he'll be gone. The sheer weight of pressure from fans wanting him to leave is just too great. Hughes can't possibly face us again after this. Untenable, if it wasn't already.

    Agree with you 12th.

The time is right for him to go. No question.

Our Farjar, who art thy in heaven, please let thy be done ............ sing thy hallelujah and rejoice, for thy word has been spoken!
Where art thou bar fridge, for I have seen thy light ( of the bar fridge open ) ...... and thy needs to whet thy whistle, oh humble one.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like they asked him to resign and he said no. Dead man walking now surely?

Our club should take their lead from Adolph Hitler and how he got rid of Ernst Rohm. Lock Hughes in a room with a resignation letter and a custard pie - don't let him out until he's signed the letter and pie'd himself.
