Your brackets imply that you know what I'm going to reply with, as well as the nice attempt at a bait...when you have no clue whatsoever, you're just assuming, like the vast majority of fans on these boards do.
WB have just as much chance as anyone, on current form. The question is whether they can maintain that form, which no one can answer. If they do, well obviously they stay there, but many would say they're overachieving so far and will drop the pace eventually. Many said the same for Newcastle last year (such as me) but they stayed right up there til the end, but they're struggling this year instead. We're still only 1/3 through though, too early to make predictions beyond the top 3.
As such, and on current form, Liverpool has just as good a chance as anyone. Having a chance is a simple term. It means there's a chance if things continue to go our way, our form continues and others maybe struggle.
There is a chance of top 4.
Look its great you coming on here to defend your team, but you can bookmark this if you want, I think Liverpool will finish 6th, even with Borini, Kelly and Reina back and some striker signed in January.
The reason is because even if you signed a striker the system you play means the focus is on one person getting the goals, (suarez) now you need to sign a player better then Suarez who can make things out of nothing and scores amazing goals, that costs money and big bucks Liverpool won't be doing that just yet.
Also if you buy a striker are you going to push Suarez out right/left hand side after he has been banging them in for fun and in the top of his form could mean he feels being pushed out.
Just think the way Rodgers plays he wont play a different way as seen with Swansea he likes to play with a main striker and one either side so that's why I think Liverpool won't make the CL cause at the moment Liverpool have played out of their skin so far bar one Arsenal and they are still mid table, 2pts behind Spurs who are playing way below their best and with the quality they have once they improve they will leave Liverpool behind.
Liverpool wont be in the CL league next year its not a fact its just that at the moment they are not good enough but well done for hanging on the coatails after a 1/3 of the season gone when will you make your move for the top 4 places.
