Don't talk to them B4F, we are not their rivals as we are a massive 2 points behind them in the league. Oh how I wish we never had our worst start in 100 years. <laugh>

The difference is, of course, that we have three or four key players to come back from injury - and yet we are still above you in the league.

You are already fielding your strongest side.

Who do you think ought to be the more worried, you or us?

We are having to field a young team (youngest in the Prem I think) and only have one goal scorer which explains the lack of wins. Our back up striker is injured and still unproven in the Prem, also Lucas is due to come back. If we manage to keep up what we are doing until Jan and we manage to bring in another goal scorer things will start to look up.

As for who should be more worried? Neither. We will both finish outside the top 4 and neither of us will have a disastrous season considering the circumstances.

You've got problems too pal. How long until AVB gets fired?

1. What part of "in no way see it as an expectation and never have" do you not understand?...<doh>

2. **** all that, when did you last beat us 4-0.

What is it about ****in Pool fans and constant historical waffle! <laugh>

Having read what this was in reply to, the only conclusions are you're pished? or really fookin thick

Ah HIAG

Lost yet again yet blabs about a team not losing and how Spurs are better than them, then come the lame azz injury excuses, thought you only lost today cos Ade got sent off, now it is injuries <doh>

Take out the unusual win at MU and well..

From the same sort of games your lot amassed 2 extra points, what ever happened to that power in North London and the thing with the shifting? <laugh>

I wouldn't be shocked if we finish above Spuds.. though not shocked if we finished below ye too :)

so you say.. We are playing our strongest side and playing our best.. yadda yadda.

We are just getting started <ok> When AVB sorts out that collapsefest you call a team then maybe CL footie again but otherwise.. just <laugh>

What you young Mousers must always bear in mind, is that Spurs were never expected to finish in the top 4. Yes, we will always be in competition for a place, because we have a great squad of players (when they are all fit), but none of the so-called "professional pundits have put serious money on us to finish top 4. If we finish top 4 (as we have done twice in the last three seasons), everyone says that we have punched above our weight.

'Pool, however, are now viewed as fallen giants by the professional pundits. 'Pool lackies, such as Hansen and Lawro pretend that you don't stand a chance at finishing top 4, but you can tell that, secretly, they believe you will, and are, therefore, doomed to eternal disappointment in the modern game.

That Mousers should come on this thread to crow about 'Pool winning and Spurs losing as a joy-substitute for having any hope of finishing top 4, that is a very, very sad thing to behold. Anyone who, like me, remembers the Mouser from former times (mainly the 70s and 80s) will know that he held his head high with pride, and rose above such petty vindictiveness. Still, I suppose this is a sign of just how much things have changed.

God forbid Goofy got himself injured, Little Luke!

They'd go into free-fall.

Neither were we. Couldn't be bothered with the rest <ok>

HIAG you're trapped in a bitter 70's and 80's bubble, time moves on old feller and since the 90's we've had some success and we've finished top 4 a few times.
When is the open top bus tour with your "twice in three seasons" cup?

Your undoubted obsession with our club and it's welfare is flattering but you'd be better off worrying about Spurs mini revival ending and sinking back to mid-table obscurity.

There are lots of advantages to being 8. Not being blinded by history, for one. As Henry "Halewood" Ford said : "History is bunk."

Another one is calling things as you see them. Who are this mid-table team reliant on one player?

Where have I mentioned history?

You're dreaming child.

You're dreaming child.

They're in danger of damaging the space-time continuum, history apparently/supposedly began the same year Utd won their first title in 26yrs and then its dragged back 3yrs to suit Spurs min-revival, yet no trophy for four years for Spurs and none last season for the mancs is not historical fact because that would mean they'd have to acknowledge our CC win.

You know what mate?

I actually don't have to make you look stupid tonight because your team and that Chelsea reject Manager of your's is doing it for me.

YOu truly are the most overated ****fest of a team I have ever had the misfortune of seeing.

P.S

Were missing our best Centre Mid too and have been all season. Once he's back and fit and up and running we'll be a hell of a lot harder to score against and when we strengthen in January, which e already know we will be doing, we'll be scoring more goals too.

So less of this woe is me we have missing players and you don't bullshit. We have ONE ****ing striker for ****s sake.

You really are King of Bullshit mountain and more deluded than all LFC fans put together.

Welcome to "mid-table".
