More reliable then most sources. My mum and dad knew a police man that worked at The Dell, he tipped them off that Saints were signing Keegan. They put a bet on and a week later Keegan joined, they won over 3k so not so bad.

Well he obviously saw Keegan at the ground in an era before there was a journalist camped outside 24/7. He wouldn't see Lambert at the potteries though would he? And much less likely to know about 'interest'.

Anyhow, i think we should play the loan market. Danny Wilson at Liverpool is a full Scotland international with some pace iirc. Man United may have a surge of CBs when they all come back from injury, which i hear they are, so they will have Jones, Smalling, Evans, Ferinand, Vidic and the youth players and back up of Carrick, maybe Smalling can be taken on loan? Also Chelsea have a mad amount of players im sure we can borrow a few off of them!

I would suggest Palaces left back, Parr, he looks good? But with Holloway there now..... well he may just explode with rage.

Danny Wilson at Liverpool now that is a good shout ...young eager to impress and like RLSGM said with pace and a full international okay only with Scotland but maybe we get him on loan if for nothing else as good cover
 
Kolo Toure on loan until the end of the season. I know his wages would be high but there would be no transfer fee. Also for him it would probably be more preferable getting regular games with us rather than sitting around at City and not even making the bench.

They shot themselves in the foot with that performance against Leeds, NA wanted them to step up and claim a starting place but none did. Im sure that if all our wingers , central midfielders and fallbacks got injured, NA would prefer playing acadamy players rather than those above. Need to get rid and not just on loan
 
On the Rickie to Liverpool comment, my Dad told me a week or so ago that he and Nigel had fallen out. It is alleged that the club had expected a bid from Liverpool and Jayrod was hi replacement. This lead to tension and a falling out. I thought it was bollox but you never know.

Seems like bollocks to me. No indication from either of them that there's been a falling out and Rickie said he wants Adkins to stay at the club in the press conference today (Thursday). I know he would say that but it seemed genuine enough.

I agree, however as a "rumour" thread was put up, I thought I'd pass it on.
 
I don't know why people worry about Dawson - I think he'd be precisely what we need, and if we can get him on loan with an option to buy it would massively improve our defence. In fact, Dawson and Boilesen would be a dream January to be honest.

Dawson is just the sort of defender we need. One that will attack the ball and try to dominate the opposition striker.
