Mackem in peace lads. Despite us gaining 3 points over the Latics the weekend before last, the knives are out for Steve Bruce. His biggest problem as a manager (and there are several underlying theories for this) is that his teams collapse completely in the second half of the season. His defenders maintain that our collapse this year is down to injuries. I think that his training methods have contribute to a significant number of injuries as well as his insistence on bringing players back way to soon which ends up with them being injured again.
Wondered what your views were from when he was your gaffer. I'm hoping that he will soon be our former manager!
