I know our season is now officially tits up. I know many want Bruce out. I know that we are not happy. But for christs sake the blame Bruce for everything is now becoming a little boring. Before someone lists Brucies failings, we all know them. Before someone asks how I can be happy with things, Iââ¬â¢m not. Before you tell me that Martin Van Gal Mclaren would be better, read it all. All I ask is for a bit of balance, itââ¬â¢s not all Brucies fault and kicking every chance we get does nothing to help.
I agree, hence why i'm sticking to outright speculation about signings, with a slight nod towards said managers sexual preferences. Anyway, we've already renewed, so whatever the club does, we're stuck with
two different types of sheep mate.......... those who want to kick bruce...........those who do not........... I must say i find it rather therapeutic......... another nervy end to a season.........squeaky sphincter.......... and a seemingly obvious reason (IMO)....... I reserve the right to call a tosser a tosser
Im sick of it Syd, i was starting to get into this forum afew weeks ago but now i tend to avoid it. It doesnt help and its just alot of discruntled fans who are still bitter about the Newcastle result IMO. From what everyone says, hes a great man manager, so i dont know why it makes him a rubbish motivator. His Subs are too be desired IMO and it does sicken me when the likes of Zenden come on and slow down the game but sometimes people dont realise that people are carrying injuries so thats why they are subbed ect. Being 5th was the worst thing that happened for Bruce because the bar was set and it hasnt been reached. We are still showing gliopses of good football but the team are shot now and its a crawl to the end of the season. I hope the fans stick with the lads and start again in the summer. Whats a knee-Jerk reaction ever got anyone? look at Charlton this season, sacked Phil Parkinson when they were 4th because the had some bad results and now they are 14th. Charlton when they were in the prem, kept sacking managers and got relegated because of it, Newcastle the same. I just hope we dont go in that direction TBH syd.
I know Martin Oneill makes 'good players better' but hes a tosser so i would avoid him and if not him there is noone else. So stick with Bruce. You need a manager who knows england who can secure our development surely? not a foreign big shot who will try and change everything which could send us down.
all of Barcelona and their manager. but then i always ****ing wake up after that dream and spoil it all
You know what mate, i haven't a clue. There's still a big part of me that would love Bruce to succeed, i like the fella, and unquestionably he's done good for the club, but the tactical naivety is the driver for me, not the injuries, even if he brought in a right hand man to help out tactically, that'd be ok with me. I'd say Van Gaal, whether it's realistic or not is another thing altogether. I'm not of the opinion that MON is the man for us, for me the only stand out work he did was at Leicester, as winning the SPL with Celtic and finishing top 6 with Villa are generally to be expected. I'd hate for us to sck Bruce and get the wrong man in, but after the 'Onouha incident' on Saturday, i feel that he's becoming desperate. I'll say this, if he does stay i will continue to back the team, and if he gets it right i'll be delighted.
Can I defend the forum and say its just that, a forum. Many threads are light hearted, some are very serious but the reason I like it is the comments on a thread like this. On the Bruce topic I disagree 100% with SAFC, Roger, Cest, BB and many more and they disagree with me. We will debate, argue and at times get annoyed with each other but rarely will we fall out. We are all free to have our say with the only proviso being we do it with Sunderland at heart. Stick with it and have your say, do it with a smile and enjoy it.
