Really impressed with United, should be 2 up really but their midfield which I thought was weak has moved the ball around well under a lot of closing down from Arsenal's. As for the penalty I think it's harsh so justice that Rooney missed it. I really wish someone at the FA would clarify to refs what is and isn't a handball as it's obvious the existing rule of it having to be intentional isn't being played too and putting your arm up in front of your face is not only instinctive but it's always been fine before. The only reason I can see for giving a penalty is perhaps that he had his arms up in front of his face and he was turning.

It could still go either way, in my opinion. Arsenal have been ****e and toothless, but they're only one goal behind.
Santos is an absolute liability at the back, Ramsey's been totally anonymous and they've lacked pace, so Wenger needs to sort things out at half-time, if they want to get anything.
Walnut and either Jenkinson or Koscielny on after the break and go at them and the Goons could still win this.

I think the more the Goons look to attack, the harder United will punish them on the break.

And what's the betting that Wilshere gets himself sent off?

Awful marking. Arsenal had the momentum, but didn't create much and didn't score from what little they created.
Should have enough to see it out now, I think.

Why didn't Wenger take off Wilshere after he was give a final warning? Don't think there's time for another 6 from United...

I said on the Goons board that Wilshere was walking a tightrope when he made that tackle from behind and stayed on, but it was a risk that Wenger had to take, I think.
He was probably their best player, so it would've weakened them quite badly to remove him. Not as much as getting him sent off, admittedly! <laugh>
Misses their game against Fulham now, as well.

Have they had a shot on target yet?

It's barely been worth Dean putting his yellow card back in his pocket. All correct though and penalty aside I think Dean's done very well it can't be easy when both sides keep putting in cynical challenges worthy of bookings.

Darren Bent hasn't even traveled with Villa today. I don't rate him, but he's not that ****ing bad! <laugh>
The stroppy twat hasn't fallen out with the manager, though... <whistle>

2-1 FT. Arsenal have two shots on target in injury time, as Utd fall asleep. Ferguson will be furious, as that was a walk in the park.

Bloody Cazorla ruined the cleansheet Rafael was about to get for my ff team. Wenger time strikes again though <whistle>

Is that home or away? If it's at the Cottage they could lose that

The Goons are at home. Let's hope that their midweek game knackers them out and they lose anyway.

Can't see Fulham having the ambition to go there and try and win though. They will lose in Schalke IMO, and if Olympiakos beat Montpellier at home there's a realistic chance of them not getting out the group as well.
