Fame and Glory wins the first anyway. That filly has a chance but the value is Shirocco Star at 8s e/w with the best jockey in the game on top
ive been backing Shirocco all year, I was on at 20s for the Oaks, lovely filly, she wont be winning tomorrow im afraid so dont waste your money.
Fame And Glory is not the same horse, he wont be winning either.
Fame and Glory not the same horse? Based on 1 run![]()

hes finished m8, once a Montjeu goes they dont come back, no show in the Gold Cup, shadow of his best in the Irish Leger, last season emptied him mentally and he should be retired after tomorrow.
Shadow of his best in last years Ledger still hacked up in this race last year. Forgive him Ascot, any horse can put in a shocker, and he's a heck of a price-just like he was last year.
It was different last year, it was too bad to be true, he had no excuses in this years renewal and he has been beaten by horses he would have destroyed in the last few seasons when holding every chance 1f out, he also dosent want heavy ground, he likes nice ground and I just dont think the horse has this race in him anymore in this type of ground, I wouldnt waste my money.
Do you ever read the crap that comes out of your mouth??
No excuses this time round except that he physically looked like he needed the run and then attempted to make all. He went out like a light which backs up the fact he badly needed the run. Also yes he only won 1 1/4L last year but he won it so easily. I knew I'd won 4-5f out, I even said as much at the time. He won with plenty up his sleeve. I don't buy the ground factor either, he ran 5th in the Arc on vsoft ground (Workforce's Arc) as a 4yo when badly hampered and he won the Criterium on heavy as a 2yo.
You mean the crap that comes off of my fingers?
I also knew that I was up for my money 4 out that day, and a great bet he was that day, but that vibe is not there this time around and Ill tell you why, because the horse has had enough, once a Montjeu turns there is no coming back. Workforce's Arc was the worst Arc of all time, I will stand by that statement till the day I die, no one here likes Fame And Glory more than me, I had one of the biggest bets of my life on him against Sea The Stars in the Derby and id love to see him win again, but I know the horse is gone and I wont throw my money away on ground that he hates.
AFTER THE RACE
O'Brien felt Fame And Glory's attitude could be called into question when he finished only fifth behind Rite Of Passage on Champions Day, and will test him on dirt for the first time in the Breeders' Cup Marathon.
We are taking a bit of a chance I suppose.
He's got a little bit clever - he handles fast ground but he's a little bit older and wiser now and when the going gets tough he's very happy to curl up and not to try very hard.
Master Of Glesga bossin it as per the script
