It was'nt a backtrack at all, you are patently ignorant and need things spelled out, everyone else knew what I meant.

This is who you are trying to deal with.
No wonder the attendance at The Savile Dome was around the 15,000 mark as they're all on the Rangers board while their team are playing at home![]()
Don't be ridiculous. It's because we were lacking the challenge of Rangers.
Pretty sure I'm not Medro Dev you daft ****.

That's why I quoted Medro and not you. If I had meant you I would have quoted you.
Daft? Moi?

This is what it must feel like to live in a mental institution.

So by that reckoning you'd expect the same 15,000 to turn up if we drew you at parkheed in the next round?
What was it the auld, jaked-up **** said - "I goto EVERY home game"![]()
No. Incorrect. Those were attendances at SPL games against St Johnstone, Motherwell, Hibs and Motherwell again.
The 2009/10 blip is due to 4 or 5 games where we had uber-****e attendances of about 24,000 (the end of Mowbray days).

And you've inadvertently pointed out another flaw in your theory. The numbers you give are for attendances not ticket sales. We had 48,000 season ticket holders in 2009/10 (you can check this in the official accounts if you want). Yet for those 4 games the attendances were between 24,000 and 18,000 fewer than (the minimum) number of tickets paid for (a total discrepancy of 80750). So attendances in 2009/10 were lower than 2010-11 - due to the apathy created by Mowbray and the result of season book holders not turning up - but not ticket sales.
In fact **** it - the official accounts state that in 2009-10 we sold 48,000 season tickets and 240,000 match day tickets (not including european games). In 2010-11 the official account state we 42,500 season tickets and 166,000 match day tickets (not including european games). So your figures are pish and I'm right - tickets sales decreased.
What?! I'm saying if more non-season book holders, like myself, chose to go to CL games than went to Europa league games last season (which is evidently true) then they're less likely to also go to league games. I spent £110 including booking fees for my CL games - that's (almost) the price of 4 league games which I subsequently won't go to. Multiply that by the roughly 20,000 non-season ticket holders that have bought CL tickets ...
Incidentally I've never said having no old firm games won't make a difference. Of course it will - it's the only 2 guaranteed sell-outs in the league which obviously boosts total and average attendances for the season. But if less people are going to see Celtic v St Johnstone than in previous seasons, I'd say that the economic conditions are THE major factor. As they have been for the past 4 years and why we've seen a large decrease in total and average attendances since the pre-recession.

So what is your issue exactly? You think I've tripped myself up or something because you have seen me mention YOUR name on threads you did not comment on?
Guilty as charged, I admit it, it's a fair cop guv.
You are the only person whose name I have mentioned on other threads No one else on this forum has ever spoken about other people, unless those people are actually responding to him.
Caught red handed.
