for once I'm going to have my black cap on here. LFC seem to be a bit of a bogey team so I reckon they may win 2-1 or 3-1. I know they are below us in the league but our away form hasn't been great of late. It's a game made for Tiote to break up their midfield play but with him absent I can see us struggling. The best I can hope for is a 2-2. The head to head stats (above link) prove there are lots of goals in these fixtures. As ever... I really hope I'm wrong.

I think we can beat them TBH.

We should play Ba and Shola and bombard them, and have Hatem picking up the scrappy balls.

I'm hoping we can string an unbeaten run together, this is a huge game for us.

Big game for both teams to be fair..... we were embarrasingly bad at Anfield last season, and the least said about the game at ours the better.

Hoping for a good game though, usually lot's of drama when our two teams meet.

Yeah should be good, it's Cabaya and Ben Arfa we need to be aware of, without Lucas we sometimes have trouble with runners from midfield.

I can see Cisse starting TBH. He's capable of turning a game on it's head and we may need that type of player to get something out of the game.
Him and HBA will be a right handful hopefully.

dead easy here, refuse to cook his meals and other womanly things <laugh>

Well as Mr M is the cook, that rules that out for me (but makes me wonder what I will be having for supper if we win!) so I guess it has to the 'other womanly things' that HDQ refers to, ie the ironing :emoticon-0105-wink: ... I could refuse to do that, but perhaps putting nice pleats down the front of his jeans might work just as well :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I did remeber you've mentioned before Mr Magpie is the designated cook, don't worry if he's a bad loser, you can always telephone for a 'takeaway'..<ok>
