BDO could now very legitimately and quite properly reverse the sale of Rangers assets to Chico Green.

D&P lied. They should not have been allowed to be administrators due to their involvement with Ticketus and now it looks like the as the plan all along was Chico Verde.

    It's clobberin' time.

We talked about this the other day where Chico picked up the assets from Rangers at a fraction of their value......I believe the term is "Gratuitous alienation".

I don't know where that lad Albatross is gone.......he must have had a premonition.

Some of the stuff he said was a little hopeful........a lot lot lot less no now.

It depends on whether or not there was a Gratuitous Alienation in BDO's opinion. IF they smell a rat and even suspect that Green was a party to a fraudulent undervaluation of Rangers' assets then they will be onto this like Dawn French on a pizza.

Let's be fair, Imran Ahmed did say a month after the sale that Rangers were worth £30m on a bad day, and Chuckie himself said the other week that the club was worth £80m, despite receiving a pittance in investment from him. Add this to the other rumours that there were a few buyers with £20m offers which were rejected out of hand by D&P and you have a lot of seriously suspicious looking activity going on, if D&P were willing to blatantly lie about Ticketus, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that they might just have another few, or at least one, skeletons in their closet.

Not even rejected out of hand, completely ignored.

The other side to this is that the process now looks orchestrated. If that is the case, then the club was liquidated to avoid debts. That has ramifications under the Insolvency (Scotland) rules.

[h=3]RANGERS chief Charles Green claims Ibrox and the Murray Park training facility are now worth £80million — despite having paid only £5.5million for the entire club just five months ago.[/h] Green’s consortium struck a controversial cut-price deal with administrators Duff and Phelps to buy Gers in May.
The cash was mostly swallowed up in fees for the finance firm, leaving the club’s creditors with just a tiny fraction of what they were owed.
Now Green claims to have had a valuation done on Gers’ properties, showing a vast increase in value.
And he hit out at claims his £25million valuation of the club ahead of a proposed £20million share issue was exaggerated. Green said: “I think it is incredibly low, because we have a valuation on the properties — from an independent source — valuing them in excess of £80million.“This is not Charles Green over-egging — these are the figures.”

I'm pretty sure, confident in fact, that D&P have absolutely nothing to worry about, and this won't affect The Rangers at all.

"It doesn't affect us now anyway"

Things are starting to surprise me now. I am enjoying it.

Albatross got some stick on here for his insightful threads about this Rangers saga <whistle> Seems he may well be vindicated - hope he gets back on here to give us some more of his thoughts on the situation.

This Rangers saga is like a never-ending joke - a bit like the idiot extra in a film scene who gets shot and whose part calls for him to fall down and die but instead he keeps staggering around absurdly, taking bullet after bullet, in a farcical effort to prolong his moment under the spotlight.

Or like a Zombie movie where the heroes keep missing the head of said Zombie. The force of impact knocks it over but is keeps getting up.

Correct. If Green bought the club in good faith then the deal is legal and stands, but a lot more will come out about this. D and P have to be proven to have conspired with Green in gratuitous Alienation of Assets to the satisfaction of the court, however, there are still 110 mins or so of the Whyte tape to be heard. Possibility is that he is aiming for his floating charge to become valid again.

In that scenario, SEVCO new rangers or whatever they call themselves are gone forever and completely.
That could still be a manifestation, because anyone, institution or individual who now buys into the share issue under the current circumstances gets what they deserve.

Day to day operating capital will not last till all these court cases are finalised. SEVCO might not see out the season...oh and btw....Who DOES own Ibrox and Mp????

    Curiouser and curiouser.

Thanks for that. Your comic analogy is exactly what I foresee. Resurrection after failed resurrection with dwindling support after dwindling support. Who will buy ST now with this huge shadow looming?

For SEVCO, new co rangers or whatever they call themselves I cannot see this ending well. I could be wrong, but every possible outcome is up a cul de sac.

Worse than that RB if they were liquidated under the circumstances above to allow one party to take control to the exclusion of other viable parties, if the above is correct, and if so and proof is available, which BDO may uncover, then the baw is burst for Green and the balloon goes up again.

BDO are independent of political influence and as such will act in a totally professional manner. All depends on whether D and P conspired with Green to exclude other valid and viable offers and whether this can be proved to the satisfaction of a court.

Next few months will be interesting in the extreme.
To quote someone else.... This is not the end, only the beginning.

One outcome is that the court cases proceed for the next few years over the corpse and become effectively post mortums.

Albert Ross, i thought you may have been wrong before on the basis that I did not think all this **** would come together. This **** has now come together. There is every possibility you may be right.

We can but hope, but other influence could come into operation. Whyte has already accused a major politician of interfering and influencing HMRC. Wonder if he has a tape on that lol.

Problem with political interference is that other clubs, like LU and Portsmouth would have the right to ask... Why not us?

Yes, what I outlined was in addition to this.

Either way, these revelations have pushed it beyond the realms of conjecture now and we are at the start of a process that will be extremely uncomfortable for a lot of folk.

The urgency has increased now anyway.

We have enough worms to be getting on with without more cans being opened just yet.

If Mark Daly has it all then he is drip feeding this **** for a reason.

Good man Albatross - good to see you back and in form.

I think we should raise another glass to double-agent Whyte. He really is a piece of work ... stupid as a fox! :emoticon-0105-wink:
