As with anything in life, it's easier to get to the top if you're either the bosses son, or you are shagging the boss.

It's not what you know, it's who you know <ok>

Hopefully our children will get equal chances unlike past and present have shown...

There's no mention of Alguersuari. Could that mean he is one of the Sauber drivers?

Also no mention of Kovalainen, who seems to be desperate to get out of Caterham. Either that means he's settled there (explaining van der Garde looking to FI, giving credence to Alguersuari to Caterham and his article omission), or they've simply overlooked him.

Yes, as my children are both boys, unlike me they can only hope for a female boss! Equality rules!

I've had a few women bosses, only one of them was any good, the others were appalling, given their opportunites by pandering to 'equality'. I couldn't give a **** who was my boss, black, white, pink, male, female or transexual, as long as they could do the job, sadly this last part seems to be the bit that's ignored.

I had a woman boss once who had a shaven head and tatoos. If I ****ed up I would of got a black eye.

..Equality..

Autosport say that Raikkonen has re-signed with Lotus for 2013. Too bad I can't see it because of the 50-article limit (which feels like it has been going for much longer than a month).

Yes, I can confirm and paste the article from Autosport.

Autosport said:
Kimi Raikkonen has re-signed for Lotus, the team confirmed in a special promotional video on Monday morning.

The 2007 Formula 1 world champion, who returned to the sport at the beginning of this year after two seasons competing in the World Rally Championship, currently lies third in the 2012 drivers' standings.

The 33-year-old had long been expected to remain with Lotus for a second season. The team had an option for 2013 based upon certain performance criteria being met, which it has achieved comfortably.

Despite not winning a race on his return, Raikkonen has impressed with six podium finishes and has attained remarkable consistency, scoring points in every race except the Chinese Grand Prix and completing every racing lap in 2012 so far.

Hopefully this means they can build on the, what I would call, success of this season. Race wins next season is the only way they can show progress after this season.

It's a shame how it all went downhill after the summer break, can't help feel that they focused on the DDRS too much and have now been left behind. Annoying for me because I thought after Hungary that Kimi could win the championship

Annoying for you and I both, StoneRosesRam. However I am finishing this season as a very satisfied Kimi fan. He looks like he hasn't missed a beat. Amazing considering his 2 year break. One downside is I think he will now finish 4th or 5th in the WDC, but if you'd said that at the beginning of the season I would have bitten your hand off.

Here's a new one, Buemi maybe to Force India from Helmut Marko himself:

Oct.29 (GMM/Inautonews.com) Red Bull’s reserve driver Sebastien Buemi on Sunday had a meeting with Force India officials, Blick newspaper reports from India.
The Swiss, who lost his Toro Rosso race seat at the end of last season, has already been named as a possible successor for the probably Sauber-bound Nico Hulkenberg.
Red Bull’s Dr Helmut Marko also seemed to confirm the possibility Buemi is in with a shot of the Force India cockpit.
“If Buemi doesn’t go to Force India,” he is quoted by the Swiss newspaper Blick, “then we want to keep him.
“He might also do the (sports car) endurance world championship with Toyota,” added Marko.

Hopefully after this season success (compared to the last few seasons) they'll get a bit more sponsorship money for development next year, they seemed to have stalled a bit in the second half of the season
