You said they were the horses mouth. Are you now saying they are not the horses mouth?
How did Rangers get on in the ChampionsLeague this year? That is right, they weren't in it? Why not? Because they are no longer a football club.
Far from deflecting from the point of tje thread, I am examining what it is that makes 'educated' people believe in something that is otherwise incredible to rational and reasoned thought.
Your irrational belief in the continuity of Rangers is a perfect example of that.
Give it a ****in rest

Still Rangers to everyone other than a few celtic fans on the wind up.
And reality. Don't forget that. Do you think the administrators of Rangers acknowledge the club is no more is a wind up? The SPL?

For those many thousands of Rangers fans who changed their mind as to what the reality of liquidation of their club would mean, then yes. That is a fair summary. So the team that plays today, is the Rangers of old in spirit?

Of course the administrators and league know that it's a new club - however as far as most people who follow football are concerned they're still Rangers - most people don't look at the legalities etc. You're right - of course you are - but it isn't the way that most casual on lookers view it.
Are you a lawyer by the way? I really hope if I do Jury service again you're on the case![]()

No one supported the company, the club was about before the company and will outlive the company.
The company behind Man U was incorporated in 2005, the company behind Liverpool was incorporated in 1997, it doesn't matter to anyone because we support the Club, not the company.
The old club wasn't liquidated, the company was, the new company bought the assets of the old company, but Rangers live on.
"99.9% activity"
Jeebus, Weeble, why?
And in there is my point. Mr T will suspend his own rational thought to support his new club as though it were the same as the old. Yet finds it 'insane' and 'laughable' when others do similarly with regards to their faith.

RebelBhoy said:there is no context in which the word incorporated means that Govan became part of Glasgow.
Well, you're wrong, unless you have a technicality that you wish to use.
Incorporated is the past tense of incorporate:
Verb
- To include (something) as a part.
Thanks Wedgie..
Much appreciated.

It just ain't your day today Wedgie.
So this immaculate conception. Why is this not insane or laughable?
To repeat myself, I am not here to evangelise. Just pointing out that it is extremely hypocritical of someone to be so dismissive of the things 'educated' people believe when they themselves that are prone to believing "fairly tales" of their own.
No. There is no ambiguity with my argument.
