You know full well you little tease. Your whole argument for Rangers not really being Rangers is based on a company being refered to as "the Club". It's a very weak argument and I'm surprised that you're still clinging to it.
My whole argument? Interesting. You don't think the court appointed administrators of "the club" referring to "the club" as "the club" throughout the administration process up to and beyond the point at which the assets were sold is not a compelling argument. So far I have shown that UEFA and Rangers consider the new club to be exactly that. What more could anyone need? The facts speak for themselves.
The whole Sevco/Newco jibes are getting a bit tired now. I can understand the Celtic fans having a good laugh at it back when this first came to light, but how long ago was that now? Move on ffs.
They aren't jibes. They are facts. Facts I am using to illustrate a point. Irrefutable lovely facts. I say irrefutable. People are still trying.... And failing.
What does it matter though? To all intents and purposes they are still Rangers. They still wear blue, still play at Ibrox and still have the same fans. You're using a technicality to get one over on them. Why not just enjoy your current superiority without constantly repeating yourself about something that doesn't matter?
What does it matter. Good question. This started as a conversation about immaculate conception. An assertion was made that it is laughable and insane for people to have a belief in fairy stories. The person who made this assertion also states that they are a Rangers fan. Is it not also equally valid to suggest that believing that a team is Rangers, despite all of the wealth of evidence to prove they are not is laughable, insane and a fairy story. Whatever anyone feels about immaculate conception. Whatever anyone feels about the existence of a "God", they would be hypocritical to dismiss it as a fairy story when they are happy to believe their own fantastical tales. Is that not fair enough?

Agreed - for anyone to link soemone supporting a team called Rangers (yes the team -we all know the club is different and Mr T hasn't actually ever said club hes always said team) and non belief in the immaculate conception is truly ridiculous. All of that said - tell me you wouldnlt bethe same if it was City or Liverpool - I know i would be!
The above statement, must by it's nature, also leaves us with the option that there is no problem. It could be that the claim that something is amiss, is an error.
A symptom can be caused by many different disease states. A cough is a symptom of the common cold but also tuberculosis, lung cancer, pulmonary oedema etc.
That doesn't negate the possibilities that can be drawn from the sentence. If there is no problem, then denial of a claim that there is a problem, is not a problem.
Ah but if patient denial of a problem is indicitive of the disease state that the patient is deemed to have then we come to an impasse.
Then it can be simply resolved by Mr T acknowledging that the club he supports is a completely new club with no history beyond the start of this season....right?
