It was done in a titilating manner - the Daily Sport once had a countdown for a 15 yr old girl with big tits on their front page everyday until she turned 16.

In the future, "barely legal" porn sites will be 21+ only (which is a blow<grr>)

Thank God I'm more of a MILF man <laugh>

It's so much easier to shake your fist and moan about something that has already happened than take action on the bad ****e that is currently going on.

These folk making a big deal out of it probably do **** all to make a difference but bump their gums like **** about stuff on TV/Newspapers/Interent whenever the opportunity arises.

I agree - obviously it's essential that they take steps to make sure this can never be allowed to happen again but it would be way better to do it out side of the public gaze, for the story to be put back in its box and for the investigators to come back in 3 months time and say "this is what we've found, 7 others were involved and they've all been charged".

The Government must absolutely love stories like this as it taks the public mind away from things that are going on now where stuff could be done to make the country a better place instead of the culture secretary gunning for everyone at the BBC. The only thing that surprises me is that Milliband and cameron haven't started arguing about who was in power when Savile got his first victim.

Aye, they had an inquiry together like a shot. Funny how quickly this one came about compared to the MP's expenses one.

True enough - it was the same with the News of the World last year. Makes you sick really because they keep going on about how difficult it is to set these things up yet when they think they can make political capital out of it they get it doen faster than ussain bolt popping down the road to get a news paper.

The other thing I was thinking is that one of the worst jobs in the world right now must be being in the PR department for South yorkshire Police. In recent weeks we've hd Hillsborough, Savile and now fabricated evidence and brutality during the Miner's Strike - they must be wondering what on earth is coming next <yikes>

It's South Yorkshire; so hopefully some sort of nuclear strike...

They've always been well ****ing dodgy. Did you ever read David Peace's Red Riding books or see the programme?

When my granda used to watch us as kids, he ALWAYS had Clyde 2 on the wireless. They had a song on quite often with lyrics that went like "young girl, get out of my mind, my love for you is just way out of line, you better run girl, you're just too young girl."

<SAVILE>

I read one of them - it was way too disturbing for me to want to read the next one tbh!
I used to follow Watford round the country back in the mid to late 80s and have to say that aside from the Met (who were always on def con one for anything remotely resembling a local derby) the South Yorkshire mob were definitely the worst. Our support was always pretty small and relatively well behaved but they were always spoiling for a ruck. It wasn't "can you move out of the way there please mate?" but rather "if you don't ****ing move now i'm gonna batter you you dirty little cockney ****".

Happy happy days!

ER's favourite musical apparently.

Jim Morrison frequently made reference to little or young girls in his music actually - **** I'd better burn the record and cds.........
