I also reckon there should be a new global thread every week or everytime a big issue arises in football like this! People have complained saying that bbc606 had more banter between sets of club fans but something like this would get the banter flying as it is currently doing so. Make it happen Mick!
Quite agree, although this one did start with "why is this a global thread, as no one gives a **** about little QPR" or words to that effect!
every one got there veiws on this but the fa changed there stance on 3rd owniship qpr blantly missed guided the fa false documents i feel sorry on qpr but fa there needs to be strong rules on this qpr must need to be an example of to stop it happening again !!!! it it a shame qpr are heads and shoulders above the rest in the championship but rules are there !!
I really don't understand the ins & outs of third party ownership, or what we're supposed to have done wrong. If we've broken the rules then so be it. We'll just have to wait until next Friday to find out.
A points deduction at this stage of the season would be unjust, unless there is an automatic punishment applied to everyone: there isn't. It should either be a points deduction applied at the start of next season, or a financial penalty which wipes out the Premier League TV money for next season. After what happened to West Ham, the latter seems fair.
Glad to see a legal expert has finally shown up to clarify things...oh...wait. Bluebird, like everyone else on here, you don't understand the rules relating to third party ownership, I bet you've never even read them. You don't know the details of the Faurlin transfer and you've never seen any of the paperwork. The only thing 'blant' as you call it, is that you are writing without engaging brain beforehand.
It would be a shame if it costs Q.P.R. a place in the Premier League they deserve to be there on footballing grounds Hopefully just a big fine!!
QPR knew the rules - if you cheated and got caught-out - then you should get the 15pt deduction. All the teams knew the rules; the rules were changed because of saints FC - QPR thought they could get away with it and were caught - mem or mouse? Please tell me why you should be the exception just because of West Ham got away with cheating when we knew just because they were a premiership club. Non premiership have not - just ask Leeds fans.
They ave been the league's most consistent team and should deserve to win the title. A huge fine would suffice.
IF found guilty, then a points deduction not exceeding 10 points should suffice. Blimey, if I was a defendant in a court of law awaiting sentence, I wouldn't be too chuffed if some of you lot were amongst the jury ! You would probably advocate bringing back hanging for someone being late in returning their library books........
Please tell me how you know we are guilty? Are you a legal expert? Have you seen the documents relating to Faurlin's transfer? Have you read them? Have you even read the rules relating to third party ownership? Edit; Did you travel forwards in time to discover the judgement of the inquiry which is yet to take place and then come back again?
IF this turns out to be true then a points deduction is warranted. Either that or a choice between points off or a very hefty fine. Both options should be considered.
That's quite a lot of hostility you've got going on there tiger... maybe you should go see about getting some chill-pills.
