When he signed the rumour was if he played 50% of our remaining games we had to take up the option to sign him providing he would agree personal terms with us.

The lad signed with 14games to go and has so far played in 6 according to wikipedia meening if he plays on saturday which I would imagine he will out on the left wing that would be activate the clause in the contract.

I know not everyone has been impressed with the lad but what you have to realise is firstly he hasn't been fully fit and secondly the majority of the games he was played as the defensive midfielder. As Gyan said to the Sunderland Echo a month or so ago Sulley is better when he is creating chances like he does for Ghana not doing the dirty work, for me we should play him were he plays for Ghana out on the left of a midfield 4 or 3.

Sign him up I say, he is the type of player who will take us up the table next season after a pre-season to get himself fit.

Couldn't agree more. I'm sick as a parrot of international players being written off before they've had a fair chance in their correct positions here.

This. A few of us lads were banging on for weeks to put him on the left. I expect to see him there Saturday.

That team looks amazing! Warnock was mentioned on here a few weeks ago, he'd be brilliant, and I think that Turner and Bramble was a great formation earlier in the year, when fully fit, I think that they'll both continue to be rocks in defence.

...and where does our player of the season Phil Bardsley play? He could be shifted to RB, Onuoha at CB and a new player signed for the left back position.

The alternative is that he stays at LB. I don't see the problem of having a right footed LB if there is a left footed player playing in front of him.

Would prefer your idea. Theres enough skillful players there to allow the 110%ers like PB. He deserves his place.

Wouldn't mind Warnock like as for the Centre Back I say Chris Samba the blokes just a human brick wall, would offer us the height and physical presense at the back and a threat from set pieces. Wouldn't be suprised if Blakburn go down, final day they are away to Wolves could be the winner stays up the loser goes down

What i will say is that i don;t get the impression Muntari wants to be here.

If i'm right on this, he can **** off, if i'm wrong, long term he will be a quality addition for £6million.

Agreed Brucey with the Muntari comment

Going to be an exciting summer, January showed we can attract a better type of player to the club now and like we have spoke about in another thread about bargains like Annan and Rakatic let's hope Brucie can find 1 or 2.

Shift on the last of the deadwood and bulk up the squad with quality aditions adding abit mor flair and creativity into the squad and we can certainly have a good 2011/2012 season

Says he wants a top club and European football and I think our deal was 4m <-- moot :).

From his present form (and yes, he was OK on Saturday but hardly Man Utd 1st team-like!) he'd be lucky to get on the subs bench at anywhere above Spurs in the current league.

that team got a good reception from some posters.

for me it is ****ing horrible, not much on an improvement on what we have now.

a new c/b, you left turner out but included bramble?
muntari is included, and considering everyone is harping on about him being wide left, you put him inside, you know where i would put him.....
plus where is our new striker?

sorry mate but if we started with a team next season like that, i'd be gutted

    how about this one...

    ............................gordon

    bardsley.....shawcross........turner.......warnock

    henderson..catts...............adam........downing

    ...................gyan............sturridge

it's all about opinions, now you can rip my selection apart mate.
