Dead legs are something to be taken very seriously,a mate of mine who i play rugby with got a dead leg in training, nothing to bad at the time ,just a bang from someones knee into his thigh.Anyway, he thought it would just go away, you know tried to run it off.Just like countless others that we have all had at one time or another. However the swelling did not go away and after a few days it got much worse. The damage inside his leg from the collision continued to slowly bleed and swell. This, then started to affect his range of movement in the leg and the pain was excruciating. He luckily decided to go to the hospital ,where he was immediately admitted and and had to have surgery. The doctors reckoned he was only a day or so away from having to have his bloody leg cut off.....dead legs are not to be taken for granted and it must have been some knock if gaston ended up in hospital ,even if only as a precaution, i think we all agree that he will serve us much better with both of his legs still attached to his body...
