I've just taken a look at the fixtures for Sunday and there's some interesting stuff. Saints/Fulham,Pool/Stoke,us/Villa and Utd/Utd. Be interesting to see how Fulham get on against Saints as they're quite close to us in the league. That'll be a close one. Stoke will give Pool a tough match and if the home team lose it they'll be in it. The win against Norwich was after all only against Norwich and may be a one off. How we do against Villa after the Lord Mayor's Show is vitally important and a chance for us to get some good home form. I'd expect a three goal win to us. Utd V Utd,I can see a home win there even after Man U's win yesterday, but it could seriously go the other way. I'm looking forward to Sunday.
Bobby Zamora's been mouthing off about how a large chunk of the Fulham squad don't get on with Martin Jol...which somehow implies that people get on with Bobby Zamora?
Sounds like utter onions, Jol was so popular with the players at Spurs, can't see any reason why that would change, Zamora is just bitter that he was deemed dispensable.
Some Italians around me are dancing,Pool 1 Udinese 2. Liverpool's little run of wins has come to an end.
listening to 5 live and they are doing a what if you were forced to change your clubs name what would you change it to,a Spurs fan Said,Tottenham hot&cold Spur, the way they play at the moment
I guess that debate is because Barry Hearn at Orient is talking of changing to London Orient. He gets a bit carried away at times does Hearn, but his heart's in the right place and he's very passionate about protecting the best interests of his football club. Tottenham hot and cold Spurs made me laugh.
Does anyone remember 'breaking' the 606 Feedback thread on old606? The moderation of that site got mentioned elsewhere and it brought back memories of the handful of actual mods that they had desperately failing to keep any semblance of control. I think they just gave up in the end.
I remember how huge it got, and how much I typed, and what a waste of time it was. I tried to download the whole site when it closed. I actually tried four times before giving up. There were well over 500,000 pages per attempt but I couldn't work out how to download anything past the first page of a thread. I was surprised the beeb didn't try and stop me. I was grabbing 20 pages a time, every couple of seconds, for hours and hours.
Because the BBC have history of deleting content without reason. This story was my inspiration: http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/bbc_to_delete_172_websites_due_to_budget_cuts_geek.php - I even hunted down the archiver for help* In my eyes, it's the modern day equivalent of book burning. ------ *Just looked through my emails for his name but found this instead: Ignoring the latest two, I had 55 of my masterpieces removed from 606. I suspect that number is low compared to some. please log in to view this image
Wow,you had a lot of removed posts didn't you? Much of the 606 was insulting and arguments and I thought it not worth the bother. I wasn't sorry to see it go.
Nice one Inda, I created a new account when I started using 606 again before the end and think the oter email's closed down now. It's fun to look at the stuff that you said to get removed though I thought Proud Scousers robbed their own fans CL final tickets a couple of years ago. Not to mention the horrible things they're known for chucking at away fans. As for West Ham fans, I've left more class floating in the toilet. And bizarrely on the subject of Aguero... BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT TO COME TO US. We just got beat 4-0 by Fulham ffs! I was never particularly bad anyway, especially with the second account. Not sure how I got away with this one which was made funnier because all the Chelsea fans throwing insults back got moderated
