I just wanted to get one up early as i feel the price should be taken early (best odds if poss)

    Newmarket
    5.25 Big Johnny D 10-1

This horse must be backed as he is very well handicapped and completely unexposed. He was beaten just over 2 lengths by the fav in his last run but is now 12 lb better off. That day he travelled beautifully and was very much looked after in the final furlong and half where as the winner and second were properly asked a stiff question. He will have learned an awful lot that day and is a very serious bet at a great price. The main danger i feel is his stable companion Goodwood atlantis who ran Sir Graham Wade close when the latter was running off of a mark far lower than his current rating. Whichever way i think John Dunlop will win this but my strong preference is for Big Johnny D.

    Good luck all <ok>

    Evening Bluesky <ok>

    interesting selection best of luck.

Just one for me atm DONNAS PALM 4.35 Navan (Evens) Short price but that is not bothering me much with how I am betting at the moment. Finally think I have stopped betting in most races just for the sake of it. Anyways Donnas Palm without doubt the best horse in this race. Also he is 5/5 at Navan and has run well fresh in the past (has won twice off lay offs in the high 100s) (208 days since last run tomorrow). The second fav atm is Our Victoria who probably needs a bit further than 2m4f. And I can't see any of the others troubling Donnas Palm

Interested in ZARAFSHAN who runs in the Market Rasen bumper for John Ferguson. Ed Dunlop cast off. Just a watching brief for me though that race.

Good evening. After working until 3am for the last 3 evenings, how nice it is to sit and relax for a couple of hours. Haven't got round to looking at the races in detail yet but looks like a cracking card at Newmarket. I have a soft spot for Elusive Kate so won't be going against her however difficult it looks.

Elusive Kate for me too Ron <ok>

    For what that's worth :)

Hoping to take a more active part on forum now, as I officially retired 6 hours ago. Although betting every day has very serious financial implications - or a good incentive to pick better horses <laugh>

Yepppp mate I think he is brilliant but totally understand those that find him offensive and therefore "not funny". I remember laughing lots last night but can't remember any of the jokes now I was that pissed. And as if <laugh> straight up in row F in the balcony for me. He was hammering people with abuse near the front <laugh>

    15:40 Newmarket - King's Warrior e/w

(Had small e/w at 18/1 BOG just for a bit of interest. Selection won John Smith's Cup at York really well and 5lb. claim of talented apprentice partly offsets 10lb. penalty for winning York race. Draw (4) puts him on far side (I think!) where quite a few past winners have come from).

GL today everyone and happy retirement Reebok! <cheers>

Having a lazy day so had a look and I definitely like what I saw. Step up in trip should suit also and as long as the pair are equally as adept on good ground (their meeting was on soft) then 10s is the clear value call and looks a great price. Regardless of what happens, its a very nice spot.
