Just answer the question Supers, In that incident, was the contact enough to make Holt go to ground, or did he go to ground from his own decision.

All i'm trying to point out is that you boys can't take the moral high ground over everybody else.

yes it was. it was a foul. was it deserving of a red was the question.

i'm not getting into this argument for the millionth time!

“But the fairness we show, it seems the decisions pass us by because of it — there are so many decisions that have gone against us. We want to win, but we want to win by fair means, too. I have explained to my players I don’t want divers.

Quote from rodgers, seems pretty clear to me that he doesn't want divers in his team.

Actions speak louder than words! Someone who really MEANT that, would not then go applying pressure on the officials. Every club puts in a report on the officials after the game; all he needed to do was include any concerns he had about the incidents in his report.

There was contact supers, i'm not denying it, but the question that i asked and you avoided because you know full well what the answer is, was the contact enough to send Holt to ground? or did he decide to go down to make it look worse?

thats the question, not whether it was a red card or not.

and Beefy, no i'm not saying that holt should have got sent off against reading, all i'm saying is that your managers reaction would have put extra pressure on the official next time, especially when a decision about holt came about.

Don't worry too much, the refs have a lot more important things to worry about than what Brendan Rodgers thinks of them. Mike Riley will have just told him to take a hike. Good time to be playing Liverpool if you ask me <ok>

What, Lambert getting sent off in the game?

He was sent off because he left his technical area to chewck on Korey Smith, as he'd just been completely floored and Michael Oliver (who seriously is a twat, he's like 12 years old and the FA's golden boy, never has true control of a game) did NOTHING. I think Smith was out for some time with a pretty severe injury.

delaney pulled holt's arm back, preventing him a clear run on goal from 40 yards. blatant foul, he tugged him over, yes it was enough to go down. now for gods sake, get the **** over it!

Rodgers is a complete cock. That 'Being (****e at) Liverpool' documentary makes him look like a real life David Brent. The guy's so far up his own arse he can see his own tonsils.

I for one am prepared to park my mutual antipathy for you lot just to see you turn Liverpool over.

As for managers, they all do it to a greater or lessor degree.

Wenger - Never see's the incident
Fergie - Maybe it was a little harsh that decision
etc etc

Personally I think biggest diver in British football is Ashley Young, he's even worse than Grant 'oh dear I've fallen over again' Holt!

i watched the first episode of that show - it was so dull. you're totally right about rodgers. came across very 'david brent' and very unlikeable. i've long said he'll get found out and i wonder if it'll happen sooner than i'd imagined possible. we shall see...

When you start believing all the hype about yourself then you're ******. I would refer you to Joey Barton at this point, self proclaimed 'best midfielder' in England....Rodgers is on the same path albeit one would suspect without the inherent threat of violence and penchant for kebab shops.

So in essence, I would like you to smash Liverpool tomorrow and then lose every subsequent game fairly heavily<cheers>

You were doing so well until the last 8 words <laugh>

to be fair, barnsley are one of the giants of the world game so it would come as no surprise to me if they beat ipswich. liverpool however are one of the smallest clubs in yorkshire with a budget the size of an ant.
