Possibly but why make it public your calling the chief ref in the country? It's just going to lead to bias in the game.

I want refs impartial and fair, Rodgers is putting pressure on the ref, it could be positive or negative for him but it's just a bullshit tactic. Low as ****.
 
well if he says his players are going to dive any ref worth his salt will book any Liverpool player who falls over in the box and he can refer any complaints back to the pathetic Rodgers

Any chance those people who are claiming Rodgers' is 'telling his players to dive' and that 'he has come out and said that he WANTS his players to cheat' can link me to these comments?

I've heard that Ginger Winger Adrian Durham on talkSHITE say that "Liverpool are most people's second club". What a load of bollocks, I would wager that the independent state of Liverpool, (always the victims) and it's football club are the most loathed and I include Manure in this statement <ok>

"It would be a shame if players who respect the rules and managers who are asking players to stay on their feet and not dive are not getting the decisions because of it. I think it is important that referees understand that.

"It has been a criticism of the last few years of players going down too easy. It is not something we want to encourage but if you're not going to get decisions because of it players may do that."

Maybe you misunderstood me. I wanted to know where he was telling players to dive and/or cheat. Of course, you won't find it because it didn't happen.
 
Being a good manager is an art. It isn't just coaching. Its managing everything. Club, supporters, media and PRESSURE. You don't have to be a manager of Liverpool necessary. Peter Reid would have been under the most enormous pressure trying to mantain a working club at Plymouth last year when he had to sell his medals to pay the club's electric bill.
Rodgers imagines he is under pressure because he obviously told his directors that he was going to lift Liverpool out of the doldrums they have been in for over 20 years. And he hasn't. So what is the reason? Can't be his coaching can it! Can't be the players can it! Then it must be the officials.
The simple fact is Liverpool are very similar to us at the moment. They are playing well but aren't winning. 5 league games and the man is cracking already. So he's a good coach but not a good manager.

any idiot knows what he is saying. he has said that his players may have to start using unfair methods to get decisions if they aren't awarded decisions when playing fairly.

rodgers is a scumbag. glad he's being found out.
 
I think the media has taken BR's comments a bit further than they were intended, but then why was he stupid enough to give the media such a sensationalist headline in the first place? Yes, Liverpool would probably of beaten Man U if the ref had reached the correct decisions, but frankly there are so many clubs more hard done by than Liverpool (Including us) I find it very difficult to harbour any sympathy.

Giving small teams like Norwich a giant smacking is going to feel pretty good this Saturday.
 
Can't be as bad as Dalglish. He dealt with the Suarez saga so badly which most likely contributed to his dismissal. Whereas Rodgers effectively told Suarez to shut up, shake Evra's hand and get on with it.
