I don't think anyone really thinks Cisse is ****e, but you can't deny that he's playing like ****e at the moment. Eventually he will improve and start scoring again, and I think we all know that, but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve criticism for his recent poor displays.

You probably need to re-read the title article. If the OP has said he's been a bit **** at present because he is missing chances then fair enough. Unfortunately that is not the case.

He is still getting chances, he's still trying, and his all round game hasn't changed much. He is a natural born goalscorer and when they go through a dry spell its all the more noticeable.

I would never suggest anybody is above criticism. If a player is not putting in 100% I'd be the first to cane them. I just find it hard to level too much at Cisse 5 games into a season, coming off Ramadan, when he is still trying his nuts off. It just isn't happening and the demons are in his head in front of goal. Anyone who knows a shred about football knows all strikers go through no matter how good they are. They have spells when the bastard just won't go in. Shearer had one such spell and the national press were all over. We all know what happened there and who ended up with the egg on their face................

Patience is the key as a set of supporters. Its what supporting your team and players is all about.

Absolutely, what Cisse needs is for us all to have faith and belief in him. He is a natural goalscorer going through a dry patch. He will come good again and the more we support and encourage him, the sooner that will be.

He's getting into the positions which is good - If he wasn't getting chances then that would be more worrying.

Cisse will score and will do what all strikers do. He'll bang them in.

This. He is still getting in the positions, but what I've noticed is that sometimes he tries to take it too slow(against Antromidas he took a million touches with the keeper nowhere near his goal), sometimes he tries to take it too early(the pseudo-lob he tried on a chip by Perch I think against Everton).
