    I almost had tears in my eyes for the same reason. I really didn't care about the result; I was just overjoyed that the first goal back in the Premiership was his. I have a lump in my throat now just thinking about it.

    At Wembley in 76 went around to the back of the stadium with the wife to get away from the really annoying Man U supporters (99% had never been to Old Trafford ) and met Kevin Keegan, what a smashing bloke, talked about Saints and Man U but mostly about Mike Channon, Kev seemed to think he was a god. Walking back the wife said , did you remember to get him to sign our programme. DOH.
