Haha, we might have scored 4 in one half for the first time since the dinosaurs were walking the Planet, but we won't score 7 at Bellend Road. I reckon we'll win, but it'll be a close game. I'm more optimistic about City winning their this time as I've seen what our side is capable of doing.

Think it will be a close game like derby matches usually are, but given our current form I think we'll have enough to get a 2-0/2-1 win. We need to carry our home form onto away games and Leeds have players that will need watching as well. At least there isn't that twat Snodgrass playing!

Serious question. What is the future of Leeds? Each year I see they are predicted for big things but seem to miss out and then lose a few good players. Personally, I don't think Leeds fans actually believe this will be their year, which I suppose that's the drawback of being a massive team in this division as the media is always on you so when players perform they achieve far greater recognition than others at clubs like ours.
I know Ken Bates owns the club now and has sold a lot of good players but I remember a few years ago that you had some really exciting players in the ranks. Max Gradel was one - Is he still around? I know Norwich City appear to have stolen your fantastic midfield which is harsh, especially as they picked them up for very good prices due to contracts ending and such. But is there anyone new coming along for the future?
Also, another thing which has surprised me (could be my own perception and have no problem if i'm completely torn to shreds in being wrong here) but I haven't seen many big clubs loan players to Leeds. Or well, I dont remember many other than Sanchez-Watt. Is there a reason for this? Because in my eyes it would make more sense for the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal etc to all send out young players to gain experience in front of a large crowd.
Debatable whether Villa are a big club (they certainly aren't a top team anymore), but they have loaned us Barry Bannan, Eric Lichaj and Fabian Delph over the past 2 seasons, albeit only short term. Also Spurs have loaned us Jake Livermore, Andros Townsend and Adam Smith although none really made an impact for differing circumstances.
I'd rather we develop our own youngsters rather than someone else's, so that point is unimportant to me.

In reality, most writers and fans have expected midtable for the last three seasons, with the exception of the 'back the team', 'keep the faith', 'in NW we trust' brigade who'll tend to blindly big up anything LUFC.
Gradel's playing for St Etienne in France now after he was sold in disgraceful circumstances. The rest of that midfield as you say has now gone to Norwich. The only immediate newcomers from the academy are Sam Byram, a quite tricky and clever player who we've been using on the wing but seems versatile, and Zac Thompson who's basically like a young Danny Pugh. Centre mid/right back try-hard type.
The club still has a great future when Bates soon hopefully goes, but the present and recent past have been a pain in the neck sure enough.

Of the previews I've seen for this season - almost all of them had Leeds in the top 6 and most in the top 2. A lot also had us around 16th, which definitely won't happen.
I know you guys won't like me saying it - but they're obviously going on all that 'big club' bollocks rather than who is the best team.

I'd agree with that, last pre-season despite possessing a far better squad and first 11 than this one we were priced at around 25/1 with Hull and Burnley. 10 clubs were shorter odds than us. This season we were priced joint 5th favourites with Blackburn at 11/1, with just Leicester, Bolton, Wolves and Cardiff shorter.
Plus with the amount of activity we have done (even though we were in deficit from the previous season and in the summer sold Clayton and Snodgrass), it's easy for pundits to portray a club looking to secure promotion especially with Warnock as manager.
But if you compared our signings to yours, we've spent a lot more and with respect we've signed proven players whereas yours have been gambles.
The Warnock thing combined with the fact it's Leeds seem to have made many neutrals' minds up.
This could well happen minus the 3 Leeds goals.
When you look at the Leeds team that night it was far stronger than what Hull City will face tonight.
Nottingham Forests team IMO is not as good as ours is now.
So IF we play the same as Millwall then 7 is not out of the question as I dont see TWS getting more than ONE.
1 - 2 or 1 - 7 is the same....3 points. Thats what matters most to me at this moment. But a good old thrashing in there own garden would be more than a Brucie Bonus.
