People bang on about holt being a slow starter and there is an element of truth to that but he shoud work to be in peak condition for the start of the season to try and maximize the. Possibility of getting off to a flyer and carrying weight illustrates he hasn't do e that.
Come on mate. He was bloody awful against WHU. My son is one of his biggest fans but even he lost patience with his poor control, inability to jump from a standing start and his repeated fouling of the opposition. I'm not Morison's biggest fan but thought he looked far sharper. And Jackson must have had a bit of anger about being the first substitution despite his greater contribution.
He has been a Titan for three years but that doesn't give him the right to a starting spot. And there was always going to be extra criticism of him after the close season dealings.
There is no need for the name calling especially from our own supporters but strikers get the money and plaudits when they scoring so I guess they get the ****e when they aren't.

The guy's a glutton. Its such a shame because if he got himself in shape he'd be in the England squad.

He's getting pelters from all quarters and it's all based around the contract thing. I can't believe people are still hung up about it. He will come good and whatever "lack of form" he has is not because he's out of shape physically or anything to do with any contract situation has existed. He is still our captain and he will provide us with goals.
Big doesn't necessarily mean fat, and nobody said he should be thin. All people are saying is that he doesn't look his best this season, on form or in shape

Beef always respect your opinion but you do come over as not respecting others. I just posted a match report with my opinions. I raised a question about Holt for debate. I am not for one minute suggesting he wont come good but so far this season he has been not firing (and is not alone in that).The guy has been immense for us and very often we look lost when he is not playing.
We as a club should always look to improve and that includes getting better than Holt when we can. Just say you disagree with me mate, no need to be disrespectful.
