Here we go lads, this is the Spurs we love, top notch performance today! As far as I'm concerned, the first 3 games were a blip from transfer activity and poor form at the end of last season - I know it's only Reading but this is like the football on our great run last season! <ok>

We have played very well today and as Niall Quinn just pointed out Vertonghen really has been excellent today. I would love to see him and Kaboul play together that has the potential to be a world class centre half partnership.

We've still only lost one in four to a penalty. Somebody on twitter posted that if we win today AVB has a stay of execution, that's going too far I think.

Townsend on for Lennon, which will be his Premier League debut. <ok>
More positive stuff.

More lovely stuff and a decent, if a little tricky, chance for Defoe.

Then we give away a stupid, sloppy goal. <doh>

It's ridiculous he is under pressure at all after 3 games! Our season starts now as far as I'm concerned. We are only 5 points off the top with a very winnable game next against QPR.

That's a bit annoying but never mind. Can't believe how much the Reading fans celebrated that!

Conceding late goals is something we've got to get sorted.

We've come out on top today, but against a better side that could have been the difference between winning and drawing.
