The worst dive I remember has to be drogba against Liverpool in the champions league. He rolled about off the pitch, realized he wasn't on and promptly rolled on the pitch and got the game stopped.

The best of the lot has to be Nani. He got challenged by Carragher, rolled around and when Carragher only got a yellow got back up and chased the referee around the pitch. He looked like a turkey on steroids. He then lay back down and started to cry, and when being treated, attacked an ambulance man.

    No slevin it really wasnt

Andy Carroll did a good one and Stuart downs only contribution at Liverpool has been a dive 5 yards from anyone.

Wont mention Suarez as I dont need to.

Fact is most players dive, fake injury and are hypocrites on the subject.

The biggest hypocrite of the lot is Wayne ''I'm an honest player, I don't intentionally fall over'' Rooney. Five minutes later he goes down like he's shot by a sniper. Look at your own players before calling anyone elses a cheating diver. Lets not forget Ashley ''Superman'' Young who actually fouled Shaun Derry and Shayn Derry got sent off anf Young got a penalty. Only at Old Trafford can that happen.

Steven Gerrard - 'I don't think there's anything worse than a player diving when no one's been anywhere near him. It does ruin the game.'

Bit thick this Dalglish bloke, isn't he ?

The poster before said 'most players dive' and that they are hypocrites. And they are, Rooney and Stevie Me being 2 of the worst, in both matters, and you all know it.

'Course Rooney and Stevie Me have a disadvantage due to their heritage, but at least Rooney only bangs up old tarts ( and pays 'em for the pleasure ) whereas Gerrard bangs up a DJ ( mob handed ) and then claims self defence . Now that's hypocrisy !

It was Gerrard who wrote in his book that he hated how foreign players had brought diving into the English game and that he'd never dive. Amazing hypocrisy from a first class ****.

I love the bit in bold. It must make your blood boil. It's fantastic how bitter you are. That 80's bandwagon derailed spectacularly. Just brilliant!

Nice to see Welbeck do a second terrible dive in a week to con two referees for another penalty.

Watching MOTD. Wellbeck has an outrageous dive and Alan Shearer talks about why the keeper was out there and he made the ref make a decision. No mention of the fact it was a blatant dive. Lineker then asks whether it was a dive, and it's followed by a quick yes and then moving on to something else. Talk about "protecting the English/United". What are the chances they go on about the Suarez "dive" even though it wasn't and how he "went down too easily".

Erm........... the bit was about the keeper being poor today so he focussed on the Wigan keeper coming for a ball he really didnt need to. He then clearly stated it was a clear dive and went to talk about his next mistake.

Not once during any part of the coverage did any of the pundits or commentators claim Welbeck hadnt dived so......... whats your point?

It was brilliant keeping. If he doesn't go, Wellbeck gets the ball and can cross leading to a possible gal but the keeper being there forced him wide/towards the byline without touching him. And Shearer only stated it was a dive when prompted to by GL.

The point is, another Englishplayer dives and hardly anything gets said, yet when Suarez (or any other foreign player) does it, a big deal get's made from it.

Like I said, let's wait and see how much and what they say about Suarez where there was contact but he got a booking.

Pretty shoddy keeping, basically risks an open goal if Welbeck gets a cross in for Hernandez.
