And to answer the original point of the thread there is no way I would want Ashley Cole at Spurs I'd rather have Benny any day and I honestly believe there isn't much between both players just Ashley Cole generally plays it safe and plays the percentages.

NIRIR and HBIC that's exactly it he was dodgy admittedly at first bit the last 2-3 years he has been very consistent. He does have you on the edge of your seat with he's Cruyff turns but I'd much rather see that than whack it into row Z all the time. I think real Spurs fans appreciate this, not the MOTD highlight ones....

When I was a kid I saw a kid run face first into a tree...As he stood there dazed, with blood pouring from his nose and mouth through his fingers he staggered back and slipped in a pile of dog****e. As he fell he put his hand out to break his fall and put his hand in some other pile of **** ... he didn't notice the **** on his hand and he put it back up to his face spreading the **** over his nose and mouth. This in turn caused him to throw up everything he'd ever eaten...I wasn't aware it was possible to throw up, bleed and puke so much and cry at the same time...we all stood there open mouthed as he suffered the final humilation of crying and puking so hard that he lost control and pissed in his jeans...(we were about 10yrs old) it was like something from the Exorcist! His mums actually screamed "Oh ****" and recoiled in horror when she opened the door and saw (and smelt) her son there in that state stinking of blood puke piss and **** after our 20 minute walk home on that very hot day in the summer of 1977 (the year of the drought)...the stench was unbelievably bad...I swear to God he had every fly in our part of London following him home... it's something I thought I'd never wish to see again...

However, I'd rather have that as my ground hog day than ever have Ashley ****ing Cole pull on a spurs shirt.

Oh - this is very similar to a story you told in this thread: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/151536-Villas-Boas which also involved a childhood friend puking and bleeding which really made me laugh at the time. Now I can only suspect that you invent these stories and the world is, for me, a slightly duller place.

Still, for dedication to juvenile, gross-out comedy I still give you five stars. And I like the inclusion of dog **** in the face for this latest tale.

With regards to the topic - Cole won't come, we don't really need him and we'd never pay his wages.

I am telling the truth mate...I was like the grim reaper as a kid....I'd turn up and low and behold bad things happened to those around me...some of my mates called me "Damien" after the kid in those Omen films.

One day I'll put up the story of the party we crashed in our teens and when I walked past the front wall it collapsed under the weight of a fat girl sitting on it...she was forever called Humpty after that!

What kind of physco do you take me for making up this stuff <laugh>

Cashley would never play at Spurs - you couldn't afford his wage demands. He is one of the most selfish mercenary players in world football. He'll go to PSG or Anzhi or some other mega rich club for one las payday if he decides to leave Chelski.

Whatever you say!

He started last season slowly and hasn't been great so far this season either. I'd expect by the end of this season he'll be a squad player.

Few players start off seasons well, especially over 30s. Cole is still easily the best LB in England
