And to answer the original point of the thread there is no way I would want Ashley Cole at Spurs I'd rather have Benny any day and I honestly believe there isn't much between both players just Ashley Cole generally plays it safe and plays the percentages.
I always used to think BAE was a huge liability for you but he's been good for three seasons or so now. When I've seen him anyway.
The pundits decided he was a liability when he first joined, and have yet to budge from that opinion (same goes for Gomes) They only change their tune if they play for the usual group of clubs...
NIRIR and HBIC that's exactly it he was dodgy admittedly at first bit the last 2-3 years he has been very consistent. He does have you on the edge of your seat with he's Cruyff turns but I'd much rather see that than whack it into row Z all the time. I think real Spurs fans appreciate this, not the MOTD highlight ones....
Oh - this is very similar to a story you told in this thread: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/151536-Villas-Boas which also involved a childhood friend puking and bleeding which really made me laugh at the time. Now I can only suspect that you invent these stories and the world is, for me, a slightly duller place. Still, for dedication to juvenile, gross-out comedy I still give you five stars. And I like the inclusion of dog **** in the face for this latest tale. With regards to the topic - Cole won't come, we don't really need him and we'd never pay his wages.
I am telling the truth mate...I was like the grim reaper as a kid....I'd turn up and low and behold bad things happened to those around me...some of my mates called me "Damien" after the kid in those Omen films. One day I'll put up the story of the party we crashed in our teens and when I walked past the front wall it collapsed under the weight of a fat girl sitting on it...she was forever called Humpty after that! What kind of physco do you take me for making up this stuff
Cashley would never play at Spurs - you couldn't afford his wage demands. He is one of the most selfish mercenary players in world football. He'll go to PSG or Anzhi or some other mega rich club for one las payday if he decides to leave Chelski.
He started last season slowly and hasn't been great so far this season either. I'd expect by the end of this season he'll be a squad player.
