having spent 19 months in India (Pune - where the Venkys are from) over the past 4 years I have seen a hell of a lot of football coverage out there and Shebby Singh was always on. The guy is about as good a pundit as most of our pundits (Crooks / Lawrenson) are and his knowledge will be very much limited to the Premier League, so god knows what kind of advice he's giving the Venkeys! He will certainly in no way help Blackburn out, this is another desperate call by the Venkys.

They really are clueless, I know a few people in Pune who know the Venkys and it is no real surprise to them either, the coverage you get out in India is Premier League and nothing else, they saw it as an opportunity to but a Prem team and make millions out of shirt sales etc. by making them big in India......facepalm

Was it Blagonadezdin or something? Some other bloke signed for 1860's Munich once thinking they were Bayern - although I suspect this might be an urban myth.
 
Once the Venkys leave that has to be the end of Blackburn Rovers, i bet they're in debt and i doubt now they look a good buy for anyone and if someone does buy them it will just be another Bartlett/Duffen/Brown partnership.


Remember when they first got bought and the fans thought they'd be the new Barcelona <yikes>

Brown never owned the club, he just happened to work here.
