Colo injury worry
It's reported from Argentina that Fabricio Coloccini suffered a hamstring strain during training with the national team squad on Thursday. Medical reports to determine the severity of the injury are awaited.
The United defender had linked up with his countrymen ahead of World Cup Qualifiers at home to Paraguay on Friday and away to Peru the following Tuesday.

I hope the owner and the manager feel ****ing embaressed.
We should have learned from last season, that we get no luck with injuries, and we should have just made a better offer for Debuchy. The bloke was literally ****ing over this move, and wanted to come here so badly. But we decided to be tight bastards, and wait for a better deal.
This is what I was trying to say to all the ****ing ******s saying "The club are doing the right thing, we should be sensible and if the right players aren't available for the right price, we shouldn't spend cash".
It's not a realistic or sensible strategy to be this tight with our cash, when we're in the position we're in. We will NEED to spend money sometimes.
We don't need to be silly and spend above our means, but instead just not expect a cheap deal every time!
Debuchy is class, and anything £7/8 mil or below would have been well worth it. He wanted to come here, he'd fit right in, and he'd be fantastic for our style of play. But even these factors couldn't lead us to putting a better offer in.
Bring back Titus bramble

Who's this knob jockey?
Anyway's, I wouldn't worry about Colo, looks to be a similar injury as Johnson's and if they miss the scouser games then I would certainly expect them back for the week after![]()
. We are stretched but a back four of Perch, Saylor, Santon and Anita is fine. We still and have Tav, Fergie and Willo also. All part and parcel of a season and the not buying will only come back to bite if Perch slips backwards or we lose another couple.I'm ok with a Perch and Saylor combo. Anita looks good as a RB, but the lad specifically said he wanted to be a midfielder for us, and not have to play RB too often. I'd rather play Perch RB, but I guess we have no other choice.
Anita like every other squad member will have to adapt and play where he is needed at times. He seemed relaxed about it on arrival, far from the prima donna the press painted. Most modern players accept and understand it. He'll be smart enough to look at us losing Raylor/Simpson, and realise right now Pardew needs him to fill in. It'll actually be a less stressful way to get used to the pace of the game here which he is clearly struggling with. He has found himself under intense pressure in the middle and has resorted to just firing the ball anywhere at times. Having seen him for Ajax we all know he's better than that.
We are not in a position to have the Man U/Man C/Chelsea type squads where we have 2 players for every position. We have to utilise a few utility men who cover several roles.
I completely agree, but we should have signed another fullback so Anita could have played in his better position.
Anita is only a makeshift fullback, he isn't an out and out one. He did a decent job vs Villa, but defensively, I'm not so sure I fancy him up against a stronger winger. Most his good play was in attack.
