    Ryan Taylor out for months, Simpson doubtful, and now Colo has apparently done his hamstring while training in Argentina...

    this is where the gamble of inactivity with getting in defenders is going to fail.

    I expect a poor run in the league, and possible dumping out of Europe.

    threadbare squad simply not enough depth to cope with the upcoming games.

    such a shame.

    Perch in alongside Taylor, Anita and Santon full backs. It's not ideal but it could be worse.

    When we're forced to play Shola at centre half with Jonas at full back is when we're stretched to the limit. :confused:

    I can find nothing about Colo injury. The latest articles on Colo were published yesterday, where he demanded more from the team.

    Colo injury worry

    It's reported from Argentina that Fabricio Coloccini suffered a hamstring strain during training with the national team squad on Thursday. Medical reports to determine the severity of the injury are awaited.

    The United defender had linked up with his countrymen ahead of World Cup Qualifiers at home to Paraguay on Friday and away to Peru the following Tuesday.

    The club gambled with lack of defenders last year, that messed up after Taylor's injury, club gambles again with lack of defenders a 2nd year in a row, and yet again that messes up.

    Would have thought they would learn the 1st time.
