What is going on with him, has T.P, fell out with him,or is he just no good,did harry sell us a dud. T.P said we would see the best of Palacious this season,and then we get him fit,and want to loan him out,we can not afford to be loseing money on players,sell him yes,loan him no.
Beats me what is going on with him. We spend 6/8m on him knowing he was injured, he has played 2 x 5mins this season, and was supposed to be moving to Fulham or Olympiakos on Friday. Knowwhere to be seen yesterday. I think the fans deserve to be told what is going on but TP is a stubborn t..t and will not say anything.
Totally agree with that Stokie lad.. WHERE was Wilson P yesterday? Whitehead plays and Whelan BEFORE.. W.P. I also noticed a massive improvment once Adam came on for Wilko.. And Pulis said, It was 50/50 IF I started with Charlie Adam... YES he is a stubborn, pig headed T**T. We could have WON that game IF ONLY... What's new Pulis? Mate said, we we're by far the better team 2nd half.. as for Wilson P I honestly don't know what's going on.
I really rated Wilson at spurs but he has never recovered from the murder of his brother ... was never the same player or person again (understandably in my opinion). He used to always play with a smile but that went on that horrible morning that his brother (who'd been kidnapped) body was discovered. Can only wish him the best as a spurs fan.
I would be happier if they just told us the reason why he isn't playing, is he unfit is his head in the wrong place, is he injured, they don't have to go into graphic detail, just tell us something!!
Colin Lee I've spoken to a couple of fellows Soke fans about this.. and, it's must take the heart and soul out of you if that happened so tragic. What puzzles not only myself but ALL the Stoke fans. I know he was a very good player before this happened it's the (reason/s) as to WHY Wilson P is given (some) game time but way way less than he should be. IF he is right mentally which I could fully understand if he is not. But to play him for the odd 5/15 mins seem's rather stupid to us the Stoke fans. If he is FIT and IMHO he does'nt look fully fit I'm not sure though... he should be physically as Pulis told us he would be better this season, we would see more of him.. so, is it just that he can not get over the loss of his Brother's death.. I don't know. IF that's the reason he has my upmost sympathy and I've NEVER personally had a go at or blamed him in any way because he's not playing.. but surly Tony Pulis does know the real reason? Sorry for the long winded respone too!
yes but why did we bye him then,and i bet if he went out on loan,he would play the full match every week. T.P. has lost us a lot of money on players.
TP signed him, fit or not, personal issues or not! He is responsible for the investment and lack of return, nobody else. 8 million and 40k a week down the drain to watch whitehead, whelan and delap play?

According to BBC 'gossip' an article in the Sun suggests that TP wants to loan out Tonge, Arismendi, Higgy, Mama, Palacios and Jones in an effort to cut the wage bill now that Owen has signed. Surprise, surprise, PC has been saying this all summer so why weren't they sold in the window?..... because nobody wants them. Tonge, Higgy and Mama really should have been shifted at the end of last season. Has Arismendi got a future at Stoke.... I wonder. KJ could still be useful but is on a high wage. That leaves WP ....... 6m wasted..... WHY TP, WHY?

I'd say it's because we're cautious, not clueless. Better to have **** players than no players. They may only be little interest, but if we REALLY needed rid of players, then Arismendi, Jones, Higgy and Palacios would get snapped up by Championship clubs, KJ and WP could even go top flight somewhere abroad.
There is the best part of 25 million in thise 4 players and god knows how much a week wages. Glad you can have that care free attitude and your insane if you think that the champoinship clubs will cover their full wages. So we will in affect be paying them to play for someone else - Top Job!
Don't agree with your valuations here, that's 15m, 20 max. The top championship clubs are paying their top earners around 40k, about what KJ is on. Palacios' wages would probably be too much, but as I said, top flight from abroad would have him, Fulham were apparently after him this time round. And I still stand by saying **** players are better than none, your still whining now, but you'd be absolutely pissing your pants of we'd let these go, and then Adam, N'Zonzi and Owen all went elsewhere.
KJ cost 8 Million, Palcious cost 8 Million, Higgy cost 3.5 Million and Aresmendi cost 3.5 million and thats before agents fees and sign on bonuses! KJ topped our wage structure so will be on at least 40k a week and Palcious will be in that region. Higgy has been with the club for a while so will be on considerably less as well Aresmendi, but they will not fall into a tradditional Championship wages structure off around 7.5k a week! So I dont think my figures are that far out my friend! And why would we piss our pants if these players had been let go and we hadnt signed the players you stated? They never fukion played!
What about the players we have give away for free, Tom Soures, Andrew Davis, plus all the young ones we have let go local lads,and all the players we have lost money on,kitson,beattie,collins,and loads more.
KJ cost us 8 mil, is he worth that? Not really, I'd say 5. Higgy worth 3.5? He's only a year or so off retiring? And yeah , these players hardly ever play, but if you took note of my point, if our new players hadn't signed, and we'd got rid of these lot, we'd have a pretty ****ing tiny squad. Yeah we've lost money on players, but to be fair, we paid over the odds for quite a few of them, and we never gonna get it back anyway. There are some frustrating ones we've lost money on, I liked Soares the few times I saw him, he could have maybe featured more, if only to boost his transfer fee. A lot of the money lost on p,ayers cant be helped too much, this is what happens when you pick up players in their late 20s and play them til,they're 32!!
