Lol. I watched in a ManU pub and had to look to the sky on those Ricky/Evra 'fouls'. It wasn't once it was 3 or 4 times where Rickie backed in yet got the foul.

However.....Can't blame him for that. If something works then keep doing it. A little like when Ronaldo dives. If the ref buys it you can guarantee there'll be another 10 dives in the game :)

Have to say it was quite a balanced performance from the ref and not the bias towards Man U described above. If anything it was more of a bias toward us (if you count ratio of decisions as bias)

He's joined a select few already, even though he's new to the PL, simply because he has performed above expectations at every level that's been asked of him. I shall begin to look forward to Saints v Liverpool at Anfield, at this rate. How I would love to see Rickie score there. Do you think he'd celebrate..? :)

Lambert only got two decisions for Vidic who was climbing over him on a number of occasions, it evened out in the end.

I thought the ref had a good game yesterday. Read through all of the comments and no one is complaining about any major or controversial decision. It's just debate about minor decisions that you'll get with some refs, and you won't with others, but there weren't any game changing decisions.

I'd go along with that. The ones he got though were the ones as the chap above describes where you could see Rickie look to see where Vidic was and then backed into the space Vidic was jumping to head. I guess the ones where it was climbing were the ones that the ref mised but like you say evened out in the end :)

Oh and I went bananas for both goals with my 2 young boys. Think it peeved all the Man U guys off because they did exactly the same in our faces when they got the winner. lol. Good job I had the boys with me otherwise I think I may have a black eye or 2 this morn. lol

Sounds like Mr Dowd. Roger East who made his debut at Swansea on Saturday, is (apparently) a Saints fan.

Hmm, I don't know. He might. They told him he wasn't good enough, after all. But he does have a deep affection for Liverpool FC.
