I've asked you 3/4 times now to explain your interpretation of what incorporated means, yet you can't provide any sort of explanation.

Guess you can't then.

I know what the word means. I accepted your definition

Well, you're wrong, unless you have a technicality that you wish to use.

Incorporated is the past tense of incorporate:

Verb

  1. To include (something) as a part.

Only a spastic like you would suggest that it means Govan became a part of Glasgow.

Says the daftie who's spent half the day arguing about what the word 'incorporated' means <doh>

Rebel wasn't even arguing too he was just telling EDGE he was wrong and stupid sending EDGE to the 4 corners of the internet <laugh>

I think it's fairly obvious what Rebel is getting at and I suspect you all do <whistle>

Unless, I've totally mis-read the situation by only half-reading the thread...

Is Glasgow the "holding company" behind Govan?

<laugh>.

<laugh> <laugh>

So, 1911 Govan is a town in it's own right, by 1913 it's in the City of Glasgow boundary.

Govan became part of Glasgow, it was incorporated into Glasgow, it became an area of Glasgow, it's now in Glasgow.

I believe the phrase is

PWNED <cool>
