"Moaning" who is moaning. Posters have opinions quite rightly. Regarding yours, I would point out that Park was hardly a "regular" at United., and so far I can't see why he should be a regular with us.

Sure everyone is entitled to post an opinion, but that doesn't stop the overwhelming wave of despair when you read some of them.

I didn't say people can't post what they want, I just think some on here can't see the wood fir the trees. If a tabloid paper wrote that there's gold at the end of the rainbow, some on here would be off I search or it. They lap up the rubbish the press write and panic and join in. As a fan of the club, I'd expect a slightly calmer and more informed view. Some of our 'fans' on here seem just as I'll informed and spout more rubbish than the wums we get from other clubs.

We are in the best position our club has been in, well ever! New board willing to back the club, new training ground, academy, a new stadium on the horizon and the makings of the most exciting squad we've ever seen. For that I am just thankful and willing to wait and see how that works out, and enjoy every minute of it.

I just can't see why so many people fund reason to moan so much. I bet we have some very disappointed and ungrateful fans on christmas morning. Merry Christmas, a Ferrari darling? You bitch I wanted veyron!

Enjoy what you have, not what you have not and you'll enjoy life a he'll of a lot more.

As I said, this will create debate, and it no doubt has.

But when did I actually say he wasnt good enough for us? When did I say he is a poor player?

Obviously I am not alone in what I posted as others have agreed.

And also you will notice in my post I said it is only three games and wont judge him properly yet - so how on earth is that 'insane'?

Seems the only one moaning is you, me I'm just wondering if our new captain has to start! To use your analogy, I'm sure she'd be delighted as long as I didn't force her drive it, when she wanted to take the Range Rover!

I like Park. He's no statement maker but a quietly competent hard working play-maker wherever you put him. For me, he's a quality midfield gap filler and a notch above Joey B. in every sense.

Can't understand comments about his true position. Tended to run inside channels at Man United if memory serves.

My only two concerns are the decision to make him skipper (lacks the necessary authority etc.) and some of his passes have gone astray too often (especially against Swans and Norwich). On the latter point, this probably has more to do with the general lack of cohesion and understandings between players atm (which improved considerably in the second half at City).

As things stand, we're far from the charismatic Rangers we had in the top flight before. To many outsiders including commentators and pundits, we're still very much the odious oddball club there for a pasting. When the results do start coming that'll all change and our public image will be much more in keeping with the personas of Park, Granero and Hoilett. Integrity in place. Way to go!

Personally I dont think we've seen enough of him yet to judge him. He's obviously a good player and has one of, if not, the best medals tally in the team...
Think we should maybe put him in his correct position and judge him. (And yes i know we should do the same with T).
Jury is out until 8 games or so i think.

My concern is that he doesnt appear to be vocal enough or grasp the game by the scruff of the neck. Cant comment on his communication as i have been at a game this season, but in all his career at Man Utd, he never appeared to be a leader of men to me.

Strange choice of captain for me.....

I think Park has been quietly impressive. He's industrious, wants the ball, and is comfortable in possession. Sure, there have been some misplaced passes but it's early days and he's getting to know his new team-mates' style and abilities. As Brix says, he's sooooooo much better than Joe B.

Captaincy? Didn't agree with that (not vocal enough) but it's not such a critical position as in other sports imo (eg cricket, rugby).

Let's give the lad a chance!
