Now i understand why rivals call us fickle.

3 games in and we are booing.... disgrace in my opinion. AVB needs time.

We have virtually changed our entire midfield bar Lennon and Bale - it will take time for these to all gell.

3 games in ??? There were boos last week after 2 games !!!

I don't agree with him not playing Dawson either but he really hasn't been disrespectful from the sounds of things.

AVB's a bit like Murray and clearly gets misinterpreted by the media and public as arrogance. Nothing wrong with the bloke on a personal level.

I disagree with that entirely, he's an extremely vindictive person. Not that it matters as SAF is just the same.

It's a disgrace and I am appalled tbh

I personally think due to our lack of creative midfielder, we should recall Luongo from Ipswich or utilize Carroll. The loss of Thudd makes this more necessary imo. Luongo has been class for Ipswich this season and he deserves a chance after the performance today.

We can't recall him before January.

Drew with Chelsea, narrowly lost 3-2 at City, beat Liverpool 4-0, Newcastle 5-0, won 16, drew 5 of 23 games.

I won't be backing this team to repeat that.

a team that took 3 years to build...and had seemingly come to a standstill..simple stats do not tell the whole story...unless one is a glory hunter then one will latch onto stats..not saying you are one Luke..but my point is we can all use stats...i could say AVB left chelsea at 4th but they finished at 6th....what does that say about AVB? etc etc.

AVB has had 3 games fuksake!

Ahh shame that, thought he had a 24hr recall clause.

There is good reason as to why Harry was sacked. I can't/won't reveal on here but there are things the media/public don't know

I dont know whether its already common knowledge/gossip, but iv been hearing its all to do with dodgy financial affairs not the ones he went to court for.
Getting bungs from agents, basically stealing money from the club by making agents fees higher ,as they have to give him a cut to get the deal to go through.

He's not the only one either Fat Sam was sacked for a similar reasons, see the court case between Alladyce and Steve Kean for slander because Kean was caught on camera by some Blackburn fans telling them that Sam was sacked as hes a "crook". Although in the video he also claims Rovers will finish top half and win the carling cup so gotta take it with a pinch of salt! LOL

So far I've been unimpressed with AVB, poor team selection today, and the whole system seems a shambles.

I won't judge him till after 6 games, as it's been difficult for him to deal with ENIC 'leave it late' show.

But I'll make my end of season prediction now, 8th.

As for the booing, no surprise. As I've said many a time, we have a lot of negative fans at the Lane, and I don't like going there much these days.

Almost every time I end up having a row/strong disagreement/wincing in painful silence with people who prefer moaning to supporting.

When you see the great support so many foreign clubs give their team, it puts us and most of the Prem fans to shame.

I wouldn't be surprised if I only go to Europa games this season, see some decent supporters backing their team.

What really troubles me is that this guy was supposed to be some king of tactical genius. So far, from what I've seen, he doesn't seem to have much of a clue. His team selections, and his substitutions, seem to baffle most observers. If he even has a plan A, it's hard to figure out what it is. Plan B, such as it is, seems to consist of haphazard, hope for the best, substitutions.
What's even more concerning is, that if it goes on much longer, he will lose the dressing room. If that happens, we're really going to be up **** creek!. My only consolation will be that, hopefully, levy's head will roll. If it does, he'll ****ing we'll deserve it.

He inherited a Porto side with Falcao, Hulk, and most of the Portuguese national team in it, and he won the league... hurrah! (there's about a 75% chance of Porto winning that league with any manager every season anyway)

I really doubt this guy would get anywhere near Chelsea if not for the associations with Mourinho.

He won everything that season, only losing two games in all competitions and those were in two legged ties in which Porto still progressed.
51 games, 45 wins, 4 draws, 2 loses, over 88% win rate and 4 trophies, beating Mourinho's record for most unbeaten games (36 to 33).

I'm not suggesting that he's going to replicate that form at Spurs, but let's not knock what he achieved at Porto, as it was extremely impressive.

Avb had world class players at Porto yes but they also all speak so highly of him so his coaching methods, tactics etc can't have been so bad

Btw, I saw in the interview that AVB has incorporated "lacked a bit of sharpness" into his vocabulary. :D
