IIRC it was not that Cortese said no , it was the fact he said NO to 10 free ticketrs , ML was offered 3 or similar .

I will take Adkins and our scouting departments word over someone on a forum who watches the odd Eredivisie match.

Better than when we were going down the tubes. Hardly any player was still there by the time you got to use the calendar. I thought they should issue a blank calendar and send you pictures of players on a monthly basis.
I have no idea how the game is going to go tomorrow. We used to always give them a good game, and all most always scored.
We have to consider ourselves a totally different team. The 27 years we had in the top flight is irrelevant now...we have none of that experience to call on. I prefer to look at the Man City game...we can score against a good side. We have to take our chances...what we didn't do against Wigan. Get the rub of the green and we can get something from this game and any other game...but also important that we play well and gain confidence.
We'll put up a fight. If we take our chances we can give them some hassle.

Maybe just before kick off for maximum Sky camera exposure. Any ideas if Yoshida is also about? Best not to forget about him, or Mayuka who I remain very excited about.
