I'm thinking it makes sense for Sharp. We could have kept him for emergencies, but it will be better for him to get games.
He'd get goals as an impact sub, think about any games he's come on in he's been lively and gotten oppitunities in the majority to score in a short space of time. I do understand now with more attacking options he's down the pecking order but still he's a very decent player.
I really rate Sharp and would play him, but Adkins probably has a better idea of future plans that we do.
Thing is we are a club on the up, no doubt Adkins has highlighted the players he wants in Jan and August. So I very much doubt Sharp would get anywhere near the first team. He was a very likable guy what with his banter and his personality, but we both need to move on.
Just noticed that Martin is not in the squad for Palace today. Think (without checking) that's the first time he has not played, wonder if he is injured or he really is having a mare like someone said the other day.
Dembele scores on debut then sent off! Edit: It was actually Huddlestone who was sent off, my mistake.
