I hate when they buy someone and put them on the bench.
Because he's only just signed and hasn't trained with his new team mates yet perhaps. You don't just throw new signings into the starting XI. Mayuka will be on the bench at best tomorrow.
Wow some of you are very bitter about West Ham's antics last season lol. 3 very good goals imo. They are playing the style that suits the players which every side should do, look a good side and I think they'll finish somewhere mid-table
tbf...I would love us to win playing beautifully, but a few wins by hoofball would be acceptable at the moment.
I think you have to give credit where it is due, they are playing a style which is effective with the players they have, and Carroll is obviously having an excellent game playing in a role which suits him. You can criticise Allardyce for bringing in loads of big lumps ensuring this is the only way they can play, but variety is after all the spice of life and seeing tactical mismatches like Stoke vs Arsenal is much more interesting than watching loads of homogenous ball-playing teams.

Carroll will only succeed at a club that builds a style of play and team around him. The only people that would do that are Allardyce and Pulis.
