Oh sorry,is that too much history for you to deal with then. The point was that I was pointing out that Chelsea HISTORICALLY do have a large fan base. I believe I have proved that. Sorry if it doesn't fit with you myth of us being a 'small' club.
Back on topic - it's no wonder that the USA is in such a mess when one of it's finest business minds allows the manager to shell out 35 million quid on a player that someone else then farms off to West Ham on loan.
And usually it's you having a go at us banging on about history. Anyway, we drew against Hearts at home to go through to the Europa League group stages. Can't wum about that surely? Looks like this year is our year.
I suspect that that is one of the major reasons that Kenny-boy got the boot. He simply did not have a clue.
We were celebrating qualifying for the Champions League after playing on a ****ty plastic pitch. Lets see how your lot do now...
Spurs Record attendance: 75,038 v Sunderland, 5 March 1938...see, anyone can pull up matches from the past. I much prefer your own supporters take in the other link than your drivel, so here's another, while you're crowing about being so full up....plenty of room for everyone who went to these games! oddly enough during periods you say otherwise! ... http://www.theshedend.com/topic/190...hat-was-chelseas-lowest-ever-home-attendance/ Also, ave some of this... Their lowest average attendance is listed below: Man Utd 33,491 Liverpool 31,974 Arsenal 23,829 Tottenham 20,859 Everton 19,343 Newcastle 16,001 West Ham 15,987 Aston Villa 15,237 Man City 14,753 Sunderland 13,601 Leeds 13,259 Chelsea 12,672 Norwich 12,657 Southampton 11,612 Sheff Wed 11,219 Sheff Utd 10,860 Derby 10,833 Leicester 10,157
I tell you what, Clint Dempsey would have to be an absolute fool to leave Fulham for 'Pool, now that Berba has joined. He's got to be thinking that he'll grab an absolute hat-full of goals with Berba playing just behind him. Whereas, at 'Pool, there's every chance that he'll become just another donkey.
Woo hoo! Sigurdsson and now Dempsey have looked into the New Light. They can hear the engine revving!
Nice 15m profit! -8m for one season wonder Adam. How much do you think you'll lose on the other donkeys, Carroll and Downing?
We didn't lose £8M on Adam. Sold him to Stoke for £4M and he came in last summer for anywhere between £6M-£9M. So, at worst, we lost £5M on him. Or, to be slightly more positive, we lost only £2M.
