Completely non-plussed about this one to be fair. Is he good enough to solve our left back issue? I'm not convinced but will happily be educated by the lads performances. Bit gutted about Dempsey. Villa must be offering him a fortune. Pleased we aren't entering a bidding war, as its a very dangerous game.
**** Dempsey, if he wants to go to Villa, then he's a ****ing clown. Rose, we'll see, Jenas, as if I haven't had enough ****ing tauma in the last few hours. Please god no!
Dont get too worried about the Rose deal lads, its a season long loan and he will be hungry to prove a point. Also this is the back up option as Strinic deal fell through as we couldnt agree a fee so the Rose deal plugs the gap for now and maybe we can agree a deal for January or next summer or somebody else may become available, good business by MON & SAFC.
Really dont want jenas as he is s***e and has been nowt but injury prone for the last few seasons, just another keiron dyer and we have enough of them already at the club. As for rose from what ive seen of him im not that keen as he was a left winger who has been used as a left back so we still havent got a proper lb at the club and it seems that this stellar signing was nowt but fabrication on twitter. im over the moon with the signings last week but we seem to have spent all our money and thats it for now hopefully i, wrong but listening to mon interview from yesterday he didnt seem that keen on anymore signings unless ricco left
There's a class pic on fb of andy carroll getting out a helicopter for his medical but I dont know how to put it on here! Funny as owt tho...
Thought I'd pop by and offer my thoughts on Rose. He's been used as a winger for most of his short career, but he was moved to left-back by Redknapp for a bit and looked comfortable there. Hasn't played nearly enough games to fully adjust to the position, unfortunately, but if you give him a run in the side, then I think he'll do a good job for you. His positioning and concentration need some work, as you'd expect, but his tackling's up to scratch (bar his red card on Hutton) and he's a threat going forward. If you set up the way that I expect you to, then he'll add width to your attacks and provide the odd goal, too. Mainly remembered at WHL for this:
4-2-3-1 with most of your creativity coming from McClean, Sessegnon and Johnson playing behind Fletcher. Cattermole, Colback and Gardner fighting it out for a place in the two in front of the defence, I'd have thought. Wrong?
Sounds right to me, but no harm in an attack minded LB (Rose) and RB (Richards, I'm trying to will this one to happen...)
