    Ok, 'exclusively' was the wrong word. Usually. Played five times centrally (though one of those was for only 2 minutes) and fifteen times on the wing.

    Agreed, was an excellent signing for us in league one and did a good job in the championship too, but I think sadly the premier league is a stretch too far for him. Would be a good signing for Charlton I reckon.

    Deano has been fantastic for us and has contributed to our success, but we have moved on. His chances will be strictly limited to u21s and cup games. Hope he can get move he wants, but otherwise can contribute here in other ways. An agent called Sky, strangely talking live on Sky, said that if fans bemoan players not showing loyalty and breaking their contracts, they need to recognise that players are entitled to see out their contracts.

    Piero going to Sydney...end of that unlikely rumour.

    I imagine the Gaston thing is just waiting for a work permit. If it doesn't arrive by this evening, then they'll just announce it as a signing awaiting the permit.

    Yeah, further to CBK's point, it's worth reminding everyone we don't have to announce it before the deadline. It's something like we have to have signed all the papers, I don't know what exactly. All I know is some pretty big transfers have been announced well later than the deadline. I'm thinking van der Vaart to Spurs a couple of years back.
