Probably not, but I'd still put Llorrente as a starter and Adebayor certainly wouldn't be bad back up. I doubt there's much substance to the rumors anyway
I know Adebayor's wages are being made up by Man City but I can't see Llorente being too cheap either. Quite a lot to be paying a back-up player when considering the terms of the spuds wage structure
They are favourites to sign Moutihno (sp) from Porto too. Dead certs for top 4 if they get them both.
Spurs bought Adebayor, renewed Defoe's contract and are now looking to spend £30m on another striker. Can't see it happening tbh...
Interesting interview by Jol on Sky Sports Website, reading between the lines I think he will sign for Liverpool today. Sounded like they wanted to sell him to someone else but he has his heart set on a move to Liverpool.
Seems pretty useless, especially since other clubs were interested too. http://www.football365.com/liverpoo...rs-loan?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
If Stoke sign Adam and Owen they will have a good selection of former red men. Adam, Owen, Pennant and Crouch. Only Crouch is actually up to standard IMO.
Carroll is in London completing a medical. Season long loan but can't help but to think that is bye bye.
Can't help but think we should be getting money instead. Can't get rid of Carroll and just bring in Dempsey.
True but look at teams after him & what they were offering to pay to own? If he plays all season scores a shed load of goals at west ham who pay us a million & all his wages apparently: then we might get a better price than him sitting on the bench for a year for us Dunno, bit confused.
For me, with Carroll going out on Loan and not being bought, makes me wonder who they have up the sleeve, is it someone on loan in or are we flat out buying someone? Borini and Suarez can't be the only two.
