Considering we need to concentrate on a new winger or two and maybe a new central midfielder, I doubt we'll give such a large percentage of our overall wage budget to him. Plus, he was on the fringes of the England side so I doubt his ego is going to accept Championship football.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/8033900/Posh-pair-turn-down-Ipswich Boyd and Taylor have turned Ipswich down.
We could have lots of songs for him: My my my Melijas; Hey there Melijas (Plain White T's); and, erm There's a hole in my bucket Melijas. I think I need some sleep
From the PFA list (link above) i would say that only the likes of (as below) would improve what we have here. Akos Buszaky - Owen Hargreaves(pay per play deal only) - Nigel Reo-Coker. I also read that Michael Turner is available again for transfer. I wonder If Steve Bruce has gone in for them then ? But would you play for the hapless and clueless Paul Jewell.? Indeed some City fans would be happy about this. I just think that we can do better. Ryan Tunnicliffe - Josh King and Nick Powell from Man Utd would be my first option. But if Meyler and Elmo dont happen then Boyd and Taylor is not a bad 2nd option.
Just read on Elmo's official Facebook page that he's joined on a year loan. You can see it here:>> www.elmo27.com it's in the middle.
According to Burnsy on twitter:- Hull City signing due in the next hour, or so. Steve Bruce may bring in four if he can.
CORRECT. Looks like its budy down @ Allam Towers today and with Meyler not far behind. Pick 2 from the names already mentioned and a good job as news has it that Koren wont make it for saturday as things stand. Why take the risk for one game ? O/T C.M.S. leaves Brighton for Norwich and Noone gone to Cardiff now confirmed by SSN.
IMO, Elmo and Meyler with Tunnicliffe and King with Nick Powell as the Brucie bonus. Outside bet of Boyd and Taylor maybe ? With Jack Hobbs and now Tom Cairney out with long term injuries and Matty Fryatt being a big ? as to when he returns. Robbie Koren, Paul McShane, Alex Bruce all with minor injuries and Paul McKenna now on a 3 match suspension the squad is very thread bare for the weekend. Thank god for the international break.
Quite possible that we stepped in and bettered the terms that they being offered at Ipswich. We'll know in the next few hours.
Powell will be an amazing loan deal, good creative midfielder who scores goals, he can also play up front if needed
Indeed. The priority has to be any permanant signings for this week. Loan deals and f.a.t.s. can be done next week and during the international break.
It would and would wake up our rivals for sure. This rumour is gaining pace. Shame our local media are not on the case. Then again they may have been told to keep Q.T.
