...not that we'd hang on to all those players! sacrifice five at least as they would likely be sold. still, we'd have a great chance of bouncing back, especially as we'd be able to invest knowing we had four years parachute payments in reserve. not that it'll come to that of course... :D

Now if only we could persuade Arsenal to let us loan Wilshere to "nurse" him back to his former self (available October onwards hopefully) :tongue:
 
CMS-Yes, why not. £2M with a reasonable sell on if it doesn't work out. Has to be better than Chris Martin

Good point.

I would have loved to have him here if we were Championship team. To be honest I would rather him than Anichebe if it came down to that. But I still don't think we are that desperate for a striker.

see i can understand why people might feel a little underwhelmed or worried he might not score the volume of goals he has in the past at a lower level, but then there's you, who has effectively written a guy off completely without giving him a chance!
 
You didn't bite then <laugh>.

It's nothing personal against CMS I just expect to see younger better standard players, especially since we're a premiership club. I know money is a massive issue but I think CMS is a championship standard player, just being honest with my opinion.

Lol - I doubt if he ever registered an interest with Hughton and as he's off to Blackburn he ain't ever gonna "wear a Norwich shirt". He's even less proven at Championship level than Mucky Duck for heaven's sake....

If we are hankering for players who have opted to go elsewhere what's Robin Van Persie up to nowadays <whistle>

.........we have only just bought him and already you have relegated Tetty to our third team. i assume you forgot all about him, replace johnson with him in the first team i assume, and thus making it even stronger.
