    Basically mentions that Bologna's president demanded proof of funds. On Friday/Saturday we put the funds into another account. Since then, Mr Guaraldi has been more than happy to do business with Cortese. Source says they were expecting it all to go through today. There is no financial/business reason for it not to. Terms are agreed with Bologna, Penarol, Ramirez and Betancourt. The funds are all present and correct. Bologna have put us in a chain with them seeking replacements such as Pazienza and Floccari. Source seems to think Cortese may be wanting to hold it back for a big Friday night announcement. The deal could go through now in theory. Gaston has done his medical and we will be accepted in terms of his work permit application. Mr Guaraldi has now stopped talking to the press and asked their fans to wait until after 31st of August before judging the situation. Seems he wants to sell Gaston and immediately bring in 2 or 3 players to try and subside the anger of the fans. It's just a case of when the two clubs do the deal.

    Just received an email that states Gaston Ramirez will sign for us tomorrow, and will be announced in the evening. The sender also sent me another email a few days ago asking for help regarding a sum of $34,000,000 - he needs me to transfer it into my bank account.

    Sounds plausible.

    He is a doctor from Nigeria, but he said it was to do with a contract for oil he had been given, and that he needed help depositing the riches he gained from the oil-spring. Seemed like a nice guy.

    Hopefully Cortese just signs him tonight or tomorrow. Can't be doing with all the tention. If it's not announced tonight then the so called "ITK"ers will be at it saying "Deals off".

    I bet when the Bologna President asked for proof of funds, Cortese smiled and added his name to a death list. As soon as he signs off on the Ramirez deal, Guaraldi is tosta.

    You see once again we are being done by association. Because of those perennial debtors down the road WE are now being asked for proof of funds before we can sign people. It's the equivalent of being asked to pay before eating in a restaurant because your brother did a runner...
