Also, bit of a random stab in the dark at potential activity, but Stoke and an "unnamed PL club" have bidded for Stephane M'bia. Seemed to remember us being interested in him a few years back- a possibility?
 
Nah, I think that unnamed club is QPR, tells you everything really.

I hope if we do make an offer for Cabaye, he has his head turned and forces through a transfer, it's the only way we'd get him at a price that isn't disgustingly inflated.

According to Jeremy Wilson of the Telegraph Walcott and Wenger held talks. He stil won't sign today but will not be sold this transfer window. <ok>

Also with the spuds signing Dembele, I guess that means they are no longer interested in M'Vila ?

Any final official confirmation of him staying?

As for Dembele, the guy's mainly an attacking midfielder, so they could still go for Mvilla for a defensive role. But Spurs are Spurs, a sh!t team, even if they sign some quality players. They've already signed and had top quality players in Modric, VDV etc, and I don't think Dembele is any better than what they already have.

Walcott will stay on, for now. Still haven't sorted the contract issues. It was reported by the bbc a little while ago. As for Dembele I don't think he will be any better than what they had last season. Downgrade IMO although still a good player.
 
Any news on the Bendtner situation? I'm wondering if AC will still wany him as they signed Bojan today from Barcelona.
 
Fernando Llorente has halved in price, from 7/1 to 7/2, to join Arsenal. The forward was not present as Bilbao were thrashed 4-0 by Atletico Madrid on Monday and Arsenal look short up front after firing blanks in their opening two games.

Juve have signed Berba, so maybe they are out of the running which could leave the door open for.......
