I love deadline day. Grab a beer, grab the laptop, and watch everyone else sign our transfer targets.
according to the guardian, Didier Drogba and Nicholas Anelka could be available again soon, issues at Shanghai, looks like the majority shareholders aren't getting along well. Where have we heard that before. Drogba worth a punt though? He can clearly still cut it at the top level, and is still a big game player, he basically won the CL on his own.
I'd take Drogba or Anelka in a flash. It would be a fitting end to Anelka's career to finish at Arsenal.
I'll say it until I'm blue in the face - these are OUR (ie fans) transfer targets, not necessarily the club's. Wenger doesn't talk about targets ntil they have signed. Has anyone thought (paranoid maybe) that a lot of these supposed 'targets' are just put out there by parties that want to destabilise the club e.g. that ginger pr**k on Talksport? It's easy to say 'Apparently Arsenal are after MVila, Niang, Messi, etc' to get fans' hopes up, and they then get disgruntled when they don't happen because the club was never after them in the first place? Just a thought..
Guess oxo will have to start games now, he doesn't look ready to me. Arshavin will probably have stay now as well
Heh, I actually criticized him the most last season and am surprisingly not so keen on selling him, with short time to buy cover. If he does remain I'll be free to call him anything I want next season and refer the usual suspects to this and other threads if they try to defend his performances.
This is a little something for anyone who believes newspaper rumours Notice the piece about the Daily Mail http://www.twitlonger.com/show/j322tm
How did they even get him? I know Inter have signed Handanovic as a replacement already, but flipping hell. If he was available, why didn't we make a move for him?
Has to be a forgery. Cabaye is an excellent player, but it won't happen. EDIT: It's been photoshopped in place of Bendtner - 52.
